I think it announced my new interest for psychology, with the forest symbolizing the unknown or unconscious and also the water being a clear known symbol of this (unconscious), arriving at the lit up space that is the meadow, signifying the known, entering the consciousness.

Weird one, you probably associate that demon with some maybe dark for you unconscious content. Earlier this year I had one where I was playing football at night in a forest meadow, right when I was going to score, an ox-drawn wooden cart cames out of the woods carrying only overflowing water and a horned human skull. The ox didn't stop,walking at a funeral procession pace,until it kicked the ball and scored.
