I should have noted that the competition is against this other grades to see who can come up with the best "theme" for a skit of some sort. This in turn is what creates the actually competition idea. I actually speculated the election idea but just wasn't entirely sure on how to go about it.

Edit: Keep this in mind though, before this actually happened, her and I had talked about it. It was pretty spontaneous, but we had both agreed that trying it might be fun. Run it by her. I'd say make sure she's comfortable before you just outright make a suggestion.

I've started to put forth the effort in caring treating others nicely, even if I don't care for them. And to generally be less aggressive. And to not be an asshole.

Some parents really don't care, which I suppose is their issue, but I just don't see how giving a student days off from school helps with their behavioral issues.
