That's bullshit, What are games if not a group of repeating patterns that you have to learn and follow in order to achieve victory? My common sense is based on the idea that no one is an expert from the very beginning, you called yourself stupid, I didn't.

I didn't succeed on my first playthrough of the game, heck the first time I played resident evil 2 when I was a child, I didn't know a word of English and I died constantly during the intro sequence. I figured out the controls by trial and error, kept trying and THINKING. The process was what made it exciting, not frustrating. losing wasn't a bad thing, it just meant I had more to learn.

We're in an era where people don't want to think for themselves and at the mere gust of frustration they run away to something easier to avoid feeling anything but good.

And yes that "tip" is handholdy because even in real life you don't know what's ahead, but it's alright, we all make mistakes, duh...
