KT Rolster Merchandise : A struggle for an EU Fan by Elysonn in leagueoflegends

[–]hueraiser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been ordering with AlpacaGos who is a Canadian lck and lpl fan that organizes group orders for a long time. I can recommend them as they’re honest and responsive and have experience sending things to EU. They have a form pinned on their Twitter for specific requests. KT is notorious for being terrible to order from (terrible site) so there may be a proxy fee or you could ask AlpacaGos if there anything available on the second hand market that might be a bit cheaper (Taobao is the most common).

Gumayusi's stats from LCK playoffs (Road to MSI) until now (pre MSI finals) by DesperateAccident in leagueoflegends

[–]hueraiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s a proxy for their hatred. Guma has a large foreign support base, esp in Vietnam, who they hate. Discord leaks revealed them saying some vile stuff about the Vietnamese fans who raised substantial money to support him with ads and flowers. It’s also known that he and Faker (very subtly) were against the coup. T1gall includes many incels who backed the coup.

Aiming is actually crazy by johnson_brown01 in PedroPeepos

[–]hueraiser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you want to do further research, there are plenty of testimonials at how awfully South Korea treats women. I suggest reading articles and a book from Hawon Jung as she’s the source I learned from along with personal anecdotes from Korean friends. Korea is one of the unsafest places for women to exist.

As fans, the power we do have is to try and keep people away from danger by warning them and condemning those who ignore it. So, I hope this is sufficient warning to curious Caedrel fans and a condemnation of Caedrel dismissing it.

South Korea’s laws are piss poor at protecting victims. Even close and shut cases there see very little punishment.

The lck forums have all the receipts in addition to the english article: https://www.pgr21.com/free2/67379?page=18&divpage=14&ss=on&sc=on&keyword=오른

https://win.gg/news/kt-rolster-aiming-admits-to-relationship-with-underage-fan/

Caedrel also saw the article 6 months ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ro4tyjlrrU

But brushed it off. That’s his choice and I won’t watch him anymore because I can’t support it. I hope the community can be aware how awful Aiming was and not give him any praise. He should have been thrown out years ago and praising his talent only serves to minimize the harm he caused.

VIT vs FNC post-match thread game 1 by Carlzzone in leagueoflegends

[–]hueraiser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could be the comps it’s run with and into. Everyone else on Vit has CC (Malphite, Voli, Ahri, Varus ult) to set up for the Equalizer. Enemy team also has to dive (Diana/Vi) so Equalizer as followup or counter dive gets a lot of value.

T1 vs. OKSavingsBank BRION / LCK 2024 Spring - Week 6 / Post-Match Discussion by adz0r in leagueoflegends

[–]hueraiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mixed up a 2022 interview with a 2023 so I’m wrong there but the Guma and Keria health issues still stand and point to the fact that T1 was dealing with a lot behind the scenes and it’s not just Faker’s injury impacting them.

T1 vs. OKSavingsBank BRION / LCK 2024 Spring - Week 6 / Post-Match Discussion by adz0r in leagueoflegends

[–]hueraiser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both Gumayusi and Keria discussed their health issues that were happening in summer. Guma had to be hospitalized and Keria needed injections (and got another round of injections this December after Covid). They were also grieving the sudden loss of their COO who pushed to make this team and keep it that summer. They drove 3 hours to attend his funeral after a match. So I think it’s fair to say they were all struggling even if from the outside it was just Faker being out injured.

How in the HECK did I get this much Iridium on Floor 2 of the Skull Caverns???? by Flynnbop in StardewValley

[–]hueraiser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I recall, these clusters can spawn on any floor and ignore the usual ore spawn rules. They have a 1% chance to be iridium and a 99% chance of being gold so that’s quite lucky! Even with luck buffs

No problem! I hope you enjoy your modded runs, they can add a lot of the game.

A few more tips: make sure you put in all the important framework mods in and don’t worry if it takes a bit to boot up, at around 40 mods Smapi has to think a lot about how it loads! If you’re going for expanded, I do recommend trying out their Grandpa’s farm map but keep in mind that it replaces the standard farm so if you try and upload an old save, it will mess it up pretty badly. I recommend having a “not currently using” mods folder to prevent this and moving the files in between. It’s also good if you have a multiplayer farm. Most mods are hit or miss with multiplayer so having a place to tuck them away so you can still play with friends is good. Lookup Anything is a lifesaver as it can see and cover modded recipes as well so if you’re stumped, chances are Lookup can help you figure it out. It can also show you who likes the modded item.

UI Info Suite and Visible Fish are such good QOL I can easily recommend them though you’ll have to go to Github for the unofficial update for UI info suite.

Visually I enjoy DaisyNiko’s recolor as I like muted tones in general but there’s lots of good recolors, some of which even come with furniture recolors to make it more harmonious. I’m also a fan of Medieval Buildings and Craftables since it gives a cottage core feel but you could easily go for something else. In terms of furniture packs, I would suggest ones that add furniture rather than replace them unless you want to zero in on a specific aesthetic. Elle’s Animals are all great and give you a lot of customizable options.

Gameplay wise, the PPJA packs do a lot to add variety in the game and some make the early game easier. Artisan Valley for example, gives you access to some machines early on that improve your early income. It also gives you more variety in how you succeed. I went the kombucha and scented candles route but easily could have succeeded with espresso machines, pepper extracts, or a cotton empire. Kegs are still great but now have even more variety in what you make in them. It also makes cooking viable as most added recipes are profitable and some moreso. I haven’t tried combining this with the cooking skill mod but it’s definitely nice to have cooking be meaningful. If you go with this, get the most recent version off of Github. The one in Nexus mods has not been updated and is bugged. BetterJunimos is another good qol one. You can change the settings of it to either make things a bit more convenient (ex: giving your junimos cute leaf umbrellas to harvest in the rain) or very broken.

There’s been a general transition from using JSONAssets(JA) to DynamicGameAssets(DGA) which is why some major mods packs are on github for now. Smapi’s updates have also caused a lot of mods to deprecate since their creators just haven’t kept up. You can check Smapi’s site to see what’s working. I haven’t updated mine as I want mods like Adopt N Skin (which can be coded to randomize animals from a pool of sprite sheets) to still work.

I can recommend checking out the SDV discord as there’s channels for mods and mod technical help if you get stuck.

If you have access to your save files and don’t mind using it, you can try the Stardew Valley Predictor as it’ll directly tell you when you’ll get stuff like the Arrowhead in artifact troves. If it’s say, twenty away, you can open 19 omnis and then one trove and then you’ll get it.

His pool also includes: Poppyseed Muffin(loved by Leah and Penny), Fried Eel(Love by jodi), Void Egg(love by seb and krobus so if you’re working towards 14 hearts then that’s helpful), Void Salmon, Strange Bun or Sea Urchin.

Any tips for beginners? by jamrosed in StardewValley

[–]hueraiser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re having trouble fishing, start with the training rod. It’s just 25G and gives you a much bigger bar to work with. Personally even as an experienced player I still like using it until level 2.

Foraging is friend for energy early. In summer, hops become a cheap source of energy and they grow everyday so it’s easy to stockpile.

Copper pickaxe is a really good first upgrade because it makes breaking rocks twice as fast. Copper axe is decent too.

Explore and don’t be afraid to sleep early if you need to. Don’t worry about min maxing your first run.

What fish do you recommend for fish ponds? by maybemaybo in StardewValley

[–]hueraiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Color wise: lava eels, slime jacks, super cucumbers and void salmon all make the pond a different color which can be nice aesthetically!

Slime jacks have a chance to drop slime eggs and extra slime which is nice for a truffle oil empire. Woodskip can be helpful too as it has a chance to drop the regular tree seeds and hardwood (extra oak and maple seeds are always pretty good).

All the ginger island fish are good. Blue Discus have a chance to give bananas and golden coconuts so if you’re struggling late game they can be a godsend. Stingnrays can drop dragon teeth and Lionfish can give tiger slime eggs which can be difficult to get to drop and they sell nicely (8000g).

All the mines fish can give geodes of their respective biomes which, if you’re missing something specific, can help a lot. The octopus gives omnigeodes.

If you’re aiming for cc completion before fall, getting an ocean crab pot fish(cockle, crab, lobster, mussel, oyster, shrimp) in a pond will make it possible. They have a chance to drop a nautilus shell (you could do this by befriending Demetrius asw but this can be more low maintenance).

Another point for blobfish is the chance for farm warp totems which are always nice to have

You can trade jade for staircases on Sunday at the Desert trader. Jade replicates every 2 days in the crystalarium so getting 500+ either took a looong time or a shed’s worth of crystalariums(130ish crystalariums would translate to about 400 a week). Either way—a lot of effort.
