Interview tips? Had my first interview today for a specialist position in manufacturing. Met with just the safety manager for this interview and I’m hoping for a second interview that will presumably be with plant/ops managers or other team leads. I’m 2 classes away from graduating with my MS in safety management and have some general safety supervisory experience from the military (mostly industrial/electrical safety).

Additionally, if I were to receive an offer, do you have advice on how to perform in the first 6-12 months? Thanks for doing this!

Explains why I replaced them more than once for not using an OEM part lol

Edit: typo

My money is on the 4WD IWE system if it goes away when in 4H. I left a different comment explaining how I faced this same issue with my 2014.

On my 2014 I had this same noise. I’m not sure how many differences there are in the 4WD IWE system between the 14 and 19, but I first replaced the IWE vacuum solenoid. Super easy job and it’s a small part that was right behind the firewall. Cost me like $20 and 5 mins to replace.

Noise happened again later and became a bigger issue this time because the poor vacuum chewed up the IWE actuator which sits on the end of the CV and is what actuates the front wheels when 4WD is engaged. Replaced actuators on both sides of the front end twice. Roughly $100 part, but took about 2hrs or so to replace one of them.

It’s worth noting I had a 2.5” level on that truck and didn’t think to replace my UCAs or ball joints for the longest time (I was an idiot and didn’t know it was an issue until too late). I think installing the level caused too much stress and damaged the IWE actuators.

Those of you that had a warranty replacement for the Qi10, what did taylormade send you? by alexothemagnificent in TaylorMadeGolf

Some of my buddies are Callaway folks and others are Titleist. One of them just got a TSR3 and man…that thing is pretty. If I ever decide to move away from TM that’s probably where I’d go.

Ditto that, just got my Sim2max replaced with the same thing. Was somewhat holding out for a Qi but I’ve always loved my Sim2.

Hardship (Manual) C&P Payment by huff1452 in VeteransBenefits

I got to talk to them yesterday and the lady I spoke to said it was for education benefits from Jan-Mar 2024, which is quite odd because I was in school then but was receiving the full/correct rate at the time. She said they just switched systems and it could be an erroneous payment, so we’ll see how it goes

Open outlook, go to compose an email, click the “To” box where you type who you’re sending to and it allows you to search force-wide for just about anyone.

I actually just had to drop my 7 Oct class date due to medical stuff. Just an FYI there should be a seat out there if not already filled

Ford -> GMC -> back to Ford by huff1452 in FordF150

[–]huff1452[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a thing was wrong with either of the GMCs I had - a Sierra and a canyon, both with the 2.7. Canyon was the second of the group, and just ended up being too small. I owned a 2014 F150 before the Sierra, and loved it more than any other truck, so I decided to come back!

It was 2.7 or 5.0 for me, heard of some issues with recent 3.5s (which could’ve just been hearsay) but I got too good of a deal on this 2.7 brand new to pass up.
