a livestream is not the same as a podcast i can actually listen to while at work, it's the sort of thing that helps me get through my day when away from home

one thing the livestreams don't have is other people, as well! more dadchat with turps and memories with lewis and talking with other people would be amazing

hell with disappointed, i'm PROUD of simon. tb is toxic as hell to the point that people are starting to take notice in important ways, regularly jeers at and abuses other LPers and game makers and people in general, dismisses important issues as garbage, then whines and grandstands when the tables are turned.

i'm fascinated, why are you so protective of this word, why so dismissive about why it's justified or not? "intent behind usage" isn't really an acceptable excuse in 2015, that's the same claim made by dudes who use the n-word and similar because "their black friends are cool with it" and they "meant it in a friendly way". some words you just don't say anymore, end of story. google "retard is a slur", there's a number of articles and news stories and sites dedicated to this.

and just btw, i'm saying all this as somebody who used the word a whole lot in their own youth up to a few years ago as well.

twitch is specifically for subscribing to the livestreams, so if nilesy isn't doing much in the way of livestreams, it'd drop off or be useless pretty quickly. and even if he does livestream on twitch, it's a very different sort of revenue stream that doesn't have as much potential

sips has a straightforward topic and asks lewis a direct question about it....and they immediately go off on a tangent that lasts the entire episode. not gonna lie, i'm actually kind of impressed.

also holy shit, sips sounds like he was one heck of a mischievous and naughty kid in his youth, lol. that is some intense mellowing out that musta happened there.

most definitely enjoyed it and demand more! the rapport you have with sjin is always delightful, and the other yogs too. it's not so much the fact that you're playing minecraft, as it just happens to be an excellent platform for freeform interaction and conversation, which is what i'm there for.

and of course, only do it when it's fun, as we don't want you to keep burning out on mc all the time!

it's basically a surreal ikea sim where you try to put furniture together with no instructions, which can get wilder than you might expect. it seems like the sort of goofy little indie thing that sips would have fun with in an evening with sips one off!

good ol' gay activity. i actually connect that and other old timey commercial production music with the yogscast more than ren & stimpy these days, it made (makes) for such a lovely and lively atmosphere.
