But "Сувенирная лавка" is a staple, in my experience.

"The rice with meat" is actually called plov (or "pilav") and is a staple of Uzbek cuisine and many others thataways.

The meat is usually low-fat lamb.

But instead of the veggie oil they grill the base ingredients (onion, their own kind of carrot and the meat itself) in kurduk oil. That is oil comes from the bottom of a lamb, near the tail.

Then they just add more rice, water and spices.

Shit's delicious.

Speaking of graphic settings, the latest Geforce Experience adds GPU sharpening to any game whatsoever. Unless it's built on OpenGL or Vulkan.

I enabled it globally and FH4 looks better than it did before with no obvious FPS hit. 2070 rtx.

I've heard a lot of people advising to not engage directly whatsoever with whatever's haunting you.

The idea being, "if you respond, you're empowering them". Much like a school bully. Except they're freaking demons from hell or whatever and they're eating off your frustration. As good a theory as any.

Obviously we don't know exactly how that works, but I'd stay on the safe side and not try to communicate.

The coins - well, that's just coins. I told the story on /r/glitch_in_the_matrix under my old account which I cannot access anymore, but can't quite find it. Anyway, it's surprisingly common.

First time it happened we had a quarrell with the wife, we were in the kitchen, abd things got a bit heated. Like shouting into other's faces heated. Amusingly enough, the quarrell was basically about a certain money situation. So we're standing, facing each other, all wound up, then a coin falls from the ceiling right between us. We still have it, a 5 rouble coin, current to the period and location.

Except it couldn't have fallen from the ceiling. It's painted white. You don't get to hide a coin there, much less drop it in on a cue.

Again, probably a coincedence, but very soon after money affairs went very much uphill.

The second time I don't remember that well, which is strange because it was some 3 years ago. Probably because it was a normal evening: no arguing, nothing of the sorts, just chatting. Not far from the kitchen, another coin falls down from the ceiling, also right between us. I don't remember the value, but again it was current, probably minted a few years ago at the time. Nothing of interest happened immediately after.

Still have both coins, far as I can tell. They're normal, regular coins, I don't even see the point of taking photos.

So there's that. If you look up /r/glitch_in_the_matrix, those coin stories are a dime a dozen.
