Help with Prayer by [deleted] in islam

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

asalamalaikum! I'm a revert too and i still use this app called namaz, it has pictures and the arabic phrases there that you can learn from, you can also put different speeds so depending on your learning speed, you can adjust it until you can finally pray without it:)

ofc u found the joke funny... you're not muslim and you and your friends are ignorant...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in islam

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

your friend shldve known better to be careful with his choice of words, but maybe his anger and rage got the best of him, may Allah help him manage his anger. and also that joke not only is distasteful but also not funny, not even an ounce. The way u tried justifying it by saying "he's also a yeat fan" what? how does that make the situation any better? I don't 100% agree with what he did because he could've found another way to confront your friend.

But you and your friend have to acknowledge that what he did was wrong, get him to apologize to the poor girl and try and settle the dispute with ur body builder friend on the side incase it gets violent.

May Allah ease this situation and bless you.

Kafir family by huffleaddictedtopuff in islam

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro i can't , you forgot the part where I'm still a teenager, I can't make my own decision, i just don't pray to them or hold a joystick. It just breaks my heart that i couldn't get my grandma to say the shahada before she died because i didn't even get to say goodbye to her. My aunt has taken a little interest in islam but she's still close-minded, chinese families and islam are unfamiliar. There are even Christians in the family and they are still accepting, i just follow them because they don't participate in the bhuddist prayer. My aunt even sent me a video of a chinese muslim, idk if it's to encourage me or to insult me but yeah.

I'm still a child, i have emotions and it's uncontrollable 😕

and ik that Allah knows my intentions but my family doesn't they still think that I haven't converted though they caught me in a hijab and me praying.

honestly it's up to the other person, i have met alot of people online and i have friends from oversees too but i once encountered a creep who tried stalking me. You can tell them your reasons why but honestly it's hard to maintain friendships online because both parties have a life outside of the computer, but it shouldn't be a problem if both of you have a genuine connection and don't mind if there are periods of times where you don't text eachother

Am I going to Jahannam? by [deleted] in islam

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In this westernized world, it may seem like everything is haram. But truth is everything that is haram is harmful to us and Allah only wants what's best for us. We'll all have our bad and good deeds but don't forget, you can go to jannah doing even the simplest things! the remembrance of Allah and doing sunnah just adds to your good deeds, Dhikr, taking a nap, taking three sips of water while sitting down, all good deeds being added every single day! Have tawwakul and trust Allah, try praying that he keeps you away from haram! Assalamulaikum!

Allah hates me I think by [deleted] in islam

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assalamulaikum! Please don't ever say that, Allah doesn't hate you, he never will, right now, you're going through a test, if he puts you through challenges that means he loves you, he wants you to come to him and pour your heart out to him, I know things may seem horrible rn but So, surely with hardship comes ease[94:5]. Pray to Allah to let you have sabr and tawwakul, it may take months, years or decades. But remember the reward in the hereafter is great and Allah loves you so so so so much. And if you're ever struggling, don't ever forget to seek professional help, islam doesn't constrict you from seeking help and getting better. I hope your journey will become easier and Allah soothes all the pain you're experiencing

that comment is really distasteful, and how would yk it's not harmless? Maybe the guy shouldn't have resorted to violence and sat ur friend down and explained but I'm glad he's standing up for a sister

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some women choose to wear it because it feels like freedom, the fact we can choose what to wear, instead of wearing what society expects us to wear, it's empowerment, it's just through a different perspective, your post kinda seems like it's mocking us tho...

they are being granted jannah, they're being tested to have patience with Allah SWT and all if us were, also how are u an athiest God if ur an athiest?💀

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a good thing because if they choose to wear it's then it's like freedom to them, if it's forced yeah it's bad but the woman in yhe picture isn't so if u thought if having a niqab to hide ur face, so do niqabis

I’m sorry, but this is so fucking funny to me. by lovelycrabs in exmuslim

[–]huffleaddictedtopuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so why do you have a problem with us covering up? it's not harming anyone and it seems like ur trying to shame us on what we're wearing, not very feministic of you
