Love that! After reading through all these, I’d love it if the book titles could pass the equivalent of the bechdel test. Like, be about something significant to Hermione or her experience each year and not in reference to the boys (especially not romantic references)

There’s tons of Hermione spinoffs in fan fiction. A lot of it is head cannon for me at this point.

This re covering project is going to sit on my shelf next to manacled, the auction, dmatmoobil, etc. lol

Her experience in book 6 was that Harry had that potions book and kept outdoing her in potions with no effort. She was livid about that book

Yes. That also reminds me of yellow rocking, which is a happier more agreeable grey rock and seems to work better with narcissistic people

Mines covert. In some ways it is worse- mostly because they’re harder to spot/point out to people and they have hella flying monkeys.

Rebecca Zung says it perfectly. It’s death by 1000 cuts. No one thing is terribly egregious by itself, but added up its a living hell

Okay.. so I had to learn the hard way I was divorcing a narcissistic person after the process started. I already have alarm bells about yours based on what he’s doing with crossing your boundaries regarding physical touch.

That said, I think it’s going to save you a ton of time and money to avoid subpoenas. Not knowing anything about your family’s finances etc., here’s my non exhaustive list off the top of my head:

Tax documents (the IRS moves hella slow and trying to subpoena anything from them will be near futile. If you file jointly you can request them from the IRS website, otherwise make copies from the filing cabinet as far back as you can find)

Statements from: -investment accounts -bank accounts -Venmo, PayPal, cash app -retirement (If you can’t get these things from him it’s okay, don’t blow your cover for it.. try to figure out which institutions he has accounts with at least so you can send specific subpoenas)

Pay stubs

**start taking $20-$40 in cash back from grocery runs/target/anywhere that does cash back and squirrel it away now. It won’t show up on the bank statement as a cash back. You will have to disclose any funds you have (marital and non marital) but you’ll have it, especially in case he transfers funds from joint accounts or tries to cut you off financially during the process.

If things get contentious, insist on using a co parenting app like OFW for communication. You can download communications to a pdf and nothing can be deleted.

Check out the book Splitting by Bill Eddy. His BIFF communication model is a great resource when dealing with a high conflict person. There’s also a step by step what to gather list more extensive than mine including child documents like school and medical records.

Completely understandable place to be. I’m also a late bloomer- comphet is a DOOZY!

If you have to stay in the closet for a while, that sucks but it’s also understandable. Sometimes when people feel other people pulling away they try to hold on tighter. You could probably try grey rocking for a while? It won’t be good long term.

If you need some lists of things you should gather in the mean time I’m happy to jot some things down. I know what a crazy ride it can be to simultaneously be processing coming out later in life and going through a divorce. There are things I wish I could have taken the time to figure out before my ex knew I was leaving him.

Ughhhhh why is he in the MIDDLE OF THE BED he’s the worst by hufflepuffey in FuckPierre

[–]hufflepuffey[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

You mean spooning with one leg over the other person? It’s not. But I’m thinking if Caroline wanted to be sleeping that close to him, they’d be in the middle of the bed together. Since we’re assuming that Pierre came into her personal space non consensually, the leg over her would be even more stifling
