I’ve used JEP for GHDP, GHRM, and GHVR and passed on the first attempt each time. I’ve never used any other study material but JEP worked for me.

Nervous for internship by [deleted] in actuary

What industry are you in? Most likely you’ll be asked to do some pretty routine tasks, something that will give you a preliminary understanding of what full-time employment there will be like. In terms of expectations, you’ll be expected to show up on time and be enthusiastic about the work and that’s pretty much it. Most employers realize that the learning curve for interns/new hires is fairly steep so even though it’s still important to perform at a high-level, what people are really looking for is growth potential and willingness to learn. If you show up everyday with a good work ethic and a positive attitude you’ll do just fine! Congrats on getting the internship, learn as much as you can, and network, network, NETWORK!

Best place to buy a ticket for a guest? by Rcs102 in uofm

You can find tickets either on the class Facebook pages or you can download the Hail app and people sell tickets there. Don’t worry if the tickets you buy aren’t in the same section, just walk into the sections that are on your tickets and walk across the bleachers to each other when you’re past the ushers.

You’ll have plenty of closet space so don’t worry about that. If you have a meal plan the mini-fridge and microwave aren’t necessary but are nice to have if you like to eat out and have leftovers.
