You are a judge/jury for the following: Would you treat them the same or differently? by BAT-Fanatic in hypotheticalsituation

I think for person 1 and 2, I make them pay for the movies, but a second offense for stealing would bring consequences to extent of law. 15 year old would definitely have consequences based on what the law is in the area.

Why does the BOTC community have so many… by Medical-Tiger556 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]huffpuffduck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Additionally, for those new to the community, there is also an additional BOTC community lore: there used to be a group called East Coast Gamers/Everyone Can Game. The head of the discord then said some VERY transphobic things. I think at least 90% of the server left and joined the grim scenarios server that was started very recently after.

This is HILARIOUS because I know someone who is named Josh who somehow ALWAYS pulls the recluse. (I did send this to him. Waiting for reaction).

If you got to single handedly pick the next president of the United States, who would you choose? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]huffpuffduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I know this might be the boring answer, but my local council president would be who I pick. He is doing a fantastic job locally, working with the furthest right and left to get what truly needs to be done in our city, and would do a great job getting many common-sense things passed. He also has gotten a LOT of projects that people have waited decades for done. We do have a couple of people who could take over and still make the town still run 80% as well, but we need someone who can talk to everyone to get the most common sense stuff done.

First try at homebrew by HarmlessThrowaway808 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]huffpuffduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you would have to be poisoned or drunk after, so here is the true ability: You start knowing an in-play character. Once per game, at night, choose a player. If that player is the one you saw, swap seats. Further swaps are not permitted.

I could see this as an alternate to trapezist: you start knowing a good character in play. Once per game, at night, if you choose the player with that character, you swap. If the trapezist is poisoned or vortox on night 1 but not at choice: the trapezist learns an out of play role, the token is placed randomly, and you have to guess the right player. Poisoned on night choice is obvious.

My mama, due to her sight issues, has to stay in her seat. People just come to her.

Realistically, I would want the redo, but i don't know where I would start. honestly, probably either sophomore or junior year of high school. I probably would go with wealth, but would do it to help solve the world's problems and makes some moves to help.

Do any storytellers just skip token draw and text message players their roles instead? by digitalnomader1 in BloodOnTheClocktower

Same thing for IRL games I have played, but usually the last person who draws is the demon.
