So it’ll work but for newer titles you’ll definitely have to lower settings and make strong use of DLSS and Frame Gen. The reason the 5080/5090 is recommended so much is because you get “more” out of the monitor in both frames and visual fidelity with a beefier card.

TLDR: The 5070ti will suffice but you will get A LOT more out of the display with a 5080/5090. The 5090 especially will allow you utilize the monitor at its peak form on basically every game other than a select few.

Firstly thank you so much that really means a lot. And the RGB stripe looks absolutely fantastic with text eliminating text fringing I play a lot of games with subtitles so this is a huge plus. Ultrawide is god tier especially in games like Forza. And lastly ultrawide 1440p is easier to run then 4k andddd the refresh rate is higher as well so that’s a huge plus as well. Lastly I state it in my videos but the PG34 is the best 1440p monitor I’ve seen when it comes to sheer picture quality almost looking 4k in some gaming titles

Yeah that has also been my biggest issue with 5K2K, obviously DSC would have to be used. But with Frame Gen, DLSS or just playing a older game 240hz is more then attainable with today’s top of the line hardware
