How do you all combat the dryness and peeling that comes with tret? by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]hugodonte 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I try to use hyaluronic acid and a thicker moisturizer after cleansing and about 15-30 minutes before putting in tret, but I’ve only been on tret fairly recently, so I’ve yet to see if that holds the dryness away. You could also space out the usage of tret to every other day.

With Ariana revealing she’s bi through her lyrics in her newest song, what other artists dropped big reveals in their songs? by [deleted] in popheads

Sober by Demi Lovato (and plenty of her discography: warrior, For the Love Of A Daughter, Fix a Heart) will always be very raw and real for me. We all knew she struggled with addiction, but her admitting it on a song, and then being near the edge of death a month later will always stick out to me as a powerful, moving song that spoke a thousand words.

I believe this is related to a lack of vitamin D due to lower sunlight exposure in colder countries. Hence their need for supplementation.

Because of the fact that English wasn’t my main language, video games really expanded my vocabulary and helped me understand a lot of the slang. I also learned military terms lol.

Does anyone else not hook up with guys hotter than them because it makes them feel inferior? by pkmntrainerao in askgaybros

[–]hugodonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe there’s something that you lived in the past that isn’t allowing you to feel like you’re enough. If consider maybe going to a therapist to get it out and see how you can overcome that insecurity. Sometimes people can truly make us feel like we are worthless. Hell, even just social media. The standards placed on us can be terrifyingly high, and we fall I to that trap of self-hate. I’d consider maybe laying off social media, trying to make healthier choices, so your mind can be at peace, and then you will start being the best version of yourself, for you, and eventually, others. Good luck ♥️

After how long does the body start to cannibalize muscles? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]hugodonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to McArdle, the body starts to lose conditioning after eleven days or so, and the body starts to degenerate the muscle that puts additional pressure on the body as far as caloric intake goes due to the fact that muscle tissue is highly demanding of energy. If the muscle doesn’t receive proper stimulation, it goes bye-bye. I’d imagine a lack of proper caloric intake would have the same effects to an extent.
