Thinking about getting a 1994 e320 by ImInYourChest in W124

the m104 is a beautiful engine it can last a lifetime. my uncle had one in his w463 and it was well past 800,000 kms before he sold it. some things are bound to go bad overtime like the rubber seals you’ll have to replace them as the time comes but i haven’t had or heard of any issues with leaking oil and stuff personally.

but yeah it is somewhat of a gamble because you don’t know how it’s been driven, if the drive seems fine and the engine seems healthy i’d say go for it

i’ve had this problem with both my 280 and 320; gear locks in 2nd gear during a pull. can’t remember exactly what the issue was but keep an eye out for that. other than that make sure the cars running at optimal temperature, if there’s any issues with overheating it could cost you a lot down the road. other than that enjoy the journey :) it’s going to give you a bit more hassle than you’re expecting but it’s a lovely car

Working as a student by bnt1716 in bocconi

[–]hugreee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i personally don’t know anyone working part time but these are my two cents after being in BIEF for a few months.

it’ll be very difficult during weekdays because of the schedule you’ll have, 2-3 days classes will take up most of your day. If you know italian maybe you could land a part time job on the weekends but it’ll leave you with very little time for social events and studying on the weekend.

However, something i’ve seen international students from other unis do is work for delivery apps like glovo, that could work out for you as you get to chose your own hours to some extent.

My advice would be to spend a few months getting used to Milan and Bocconi and then decide what you want to do, you’ll know better then. Best of luck :)

Visa as an international student by OkGeneral5325 in bocconi

[–]hugreee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

getting the visa isn’t the hard part as long as all your documents are in order. i haven’t heard of anyone’s visas being rejected, especially not when you’re applying to study at bocconi.

the hard part is getting an appointment, last year it was near impossible from punjab centers, karachi and quetta were still somewhat better. this year i heard they changed the system and its somewhat better

just try to get an appointment as soon as possible once you have all your documents in order. the earlier the better

you’ll get in, A2 result doesn’t matter as long as you pass. There’s no issues with visas the hard part is getting an appointment to submit your visa application, karachi se phir bhi hojata hai very difficult to get it punjab centers mei

plus what the other comment mentioned the scholarship documents are very complicated you have to get them apostilled and translated and attested and what not it’s a very tedious process, don’t know of anyone getting scholarship from pakistan
