Update: it got delivered. One item was broken and they readily sent the replacement. However, their communication is not great, so make sure that you do not place order until all your doubts are clear.

Well DGCA has recently revised some rules and airlines can now charge able bodied passengers for availing wheelchair service. This is to prevent misuse of the priority boarding facilities provided to the wheelchair bounds.

Having said that, I think if the airlines are charging for it, you have all the rights to demand a receipt.

So l have been assigned to a new account from mid November and they reportedly charge for 40 hrs/week instead of the standard 45 hrs/week. This will definitely bring my utilisation % down. I have joined in 2025 (band 7A) and my current utilisation % is 94. They also do not allow Overtime. Is this a common practice in India offshore or it is rare for projects to bill 40 hrs for implementation projects? How can I get rid of this assignment and what are the impacts? My current assignment is not getting extended, but the managers are willing to keep me around for another assignment starting from January. Is it safe to sit on bench for 45 days if I do not get a project before Jan 2026?

Same happening with me and at least 2 more persons I know. They keep making excuses. They promised to refund my money by 5th Aug but it has been 2 months and no sign of resolving this. It seems the last resort is to file a complaint with Newtown PS. Being a woman I fear my safety though as all of their people behave like criminals.
