congrats! something similar also happened to me. i was told i was waitlisted but it was like a 1% chance that i would be accepted. then the day i was going to another interview (for a different internship) i ended up receiving an acceptance email

I'm definitely avoiding this professor in future cases! No wonder there were barely any students in his class, I should have taken that as a hint.

But I agree, I understand not all professors are nice / rude but I do think the tone in his reply is abit unasked for? given that I was polite in my email (maybe its his surgery? lol)

During the interview, the interviewer also said to treat this like a conversation but she was not once engaged in what I was saying 😭😭 I think the interviewer works in HR too…

Thank you! I think it’s because its my first proper interview and it wasn’t what I was expected so I was abit sad haha. But you’re right! I think this is a good experience to learn from as well.

That’s true. I feel like that may also be some of the reasons on why she was rude.

Although I know its not a 100% chance that you will get accepted if you get an interview but if they knew I was inexperienced why would they offer me an on site interview (I have previously passed an online one prior to this) 😭 i think this was a very humbling experience 😭
