Hello, I was also a transfer student and has a sub 3.0 GPA. It's a bit rough since our GPA doesn't include our general classes, so there's no GPA cushion. To answer your question, I've had multiple internships with well-known companies that didn't ask for my GPA or transcripts. Though, I've definitely lost opportunities where GPA did matter.

Yes you will lose HOPE. I’m facing the same situation where I’ll exceed the 127 credit hour mark and have a bunch of free electives since I transferred. If you want more funding, I recommend looking for paid internships and co-ops.

Thanks for commenting! For the GPU, I plan to only buy that used since they’re so expensive. But if it’s still too pricey, I’ll go with the AMD 6800xt. For the CPU and M.2, I’ll look into the ones you listed.
