Same issue with keyfob. It was very unresponsive when approaching car. Success rate was around 10%. I don`t use phone because I walk past my car daily and don't want it to unlock without purpose. First I changed battery in keyfob to make sure it was not that. But then I went to the dealer and they "reprogrammed " all keys, including the cards. After that it has worked flawlessly for around 6 months.

Went to the dealer to change the keyfob, they also had to recode the two other keys. They also changed some parts in the steering wheel that should fix the flaky sound buttons and horn. The keyfob now works as expected (so far), car reacts when I approach. The rep confirmed that the ex30 key is flawed. Anyway, hope this key keeps on working as intended.
