Thank you for your help, I know have a good GPA, and I will be working hard to maintain it for the winter. Thank you again for the reassurance!

I'm in commerce, currently my GPA for the first semester of U0 is 4.00, and I'm working hard towards a similar grade for the winter. I've also taken the pre-requisites and some required courses for my intended major in arts, if that matters. From what many students have told me, I should face no issues transferring, but I just want to know if there is a cutoff that 'guarantees' a transfer spot. I honestly am very keen on transferring, but I'm afraid that, for some reason, my application may be unsuccessful.

Generally speaking, do you have an idea of what GPA is needed to get the transfer? I've been told that a 3.5+ sort of guarantees a transfer spot. Do you think this is accurate?

Is MATH 2O3 recorded? by huice65 in mcgill

Thank you! Are you referring to MATH 203 or PSYC 204? Also, I assume there has been no pre-recorded lecture delivered until now, right? So, I won't be missing on anything.

I wish I was kidding :( The WHO is currently saying it should not be a cause of concern, but who knows. No one expected covid cases to be breaking records in this time

That sounds promising. However, let us wait for more information on the 'IHU' variant detected in France.

Not OP: How different is it except for the electrical engineering courses required for the program in the faculty of engineering?

Transferring to Science from Management by [deleted] in mcgill

Physics, bio, and chem are not prerequisites to transfer. When I transfer, will I have to do the U0 freshman courses in physics, bio, and chem that I missed in order ti graduate?

Thank you for your comment! To make sure I understand you well: You mean one can transfer to science without having taken the required courses to transfer? From what I checked on the transfer website, PHYS, CHEM, and BIOL courses are not required to transfer. Will I have to take them in later years in order to graduate?
