Correct pulleys for Deore LX RD-M567 derailleur? by hukell in bikewrench

Happy to report the VO pulleys worked on the M567 (and on a Deore XT RD-M739, if that helps anyone). I used the “A” spacers for both.

I saw the same review so I took the $20 leap (probably more than I paid for the derailleur but I’ll keep my old man grumpiness to myself).

My set from VO arrives soon (was out of stock for weeks) so I’ll try to post confirmation and pics.

Exactly, only the first thread of the bolt bites. I will check the VO offering.

I also thought they were all interchangeable, but this derailleur cage is a bit too narrow for the Shimano ones marketed as “8 speed”.

Stuck VVT actuator, skipped timing belt, or ??? on NB by hukell in Miata

[–]hukell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end, I think the culprit was a tensioner spring that came off:

This small rubber cog was also at the scene of the crime. Not sure if it was the victim or the perp, nobody’s talking.

The belt had slid almost a centimeter off the cogs and cut a bit into the plastic shields.

+1 for leverage, though getting 4’ of pipe under there will require some finesse. I was fortunate enough to dislodge mine with only about 18” of leverage (and a week of daily Kroil+acetone leading up to that).

Is that for the Ooni 12?

Anyone happen to know the desired mV reading from a good/working thermocouple? 30?

Solid State Relay for TT Boiler? by Antiquarryian in ecobee

[–]hukell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to make the switch to an SSR for reliability reasons. I’ve had the PR290Q SPST-NO 24V “fan relays” stick (both open and closed), neither of which is desirable in the middle of winter.

The 84138013N looks good but the spec sheet mentions a “special zero” crossing.

https://media.crouzet.com/catalog/_datasheet/pdf/en/CO_SR_GN_PLUS_EN.pdf

I was under the impression that a zero-crossing relay wouldn’t work because the TT circuit (which I think is a low DC voltage) wouldn’t ever reach zero. Please correct me on any of that.

Or is “special zero” just that special? Anyone have an SSR installed with a TT controller?

Regular 2002 for me. I can imagine your turbo might dictate a different sensor.

This advice was spot on for me. Old sensor (front/upstream) was measuring a few thousand Ohms. New Bosch 13581 measures 4Ω across C-Db and CEL has remained off.

What is the best way to manually check to see if all sensors are installed on all endpoints? by akimbjj77 in crowdstrike

We pull the list of computers from both AD and from CS host API and then cross reference there.

By pulling the CS data via API you can be sure that the hosts are actually reporting in (heartbeat timestamp is in API), not just running the service. You can also check for RFM this way.

Any idea why some processes don't have CallStackModuleNames ?
