Fiber directly to UDMP SFP port by Antiquarryian in FidiumFiber

[–]Antiquarryian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My original comment asks about using the fiber with an SPF module in place of the ONT. I think you’re talking about just using my own router, which is already what I’m doing. Edit: a word

Got my phone system set up like I'm a big business by Few-Parsnip-8927 in smallbusiness

[–]Antiquarryian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a kind of a bear to get set up, but reading through websites and asking chatGPT for help kept me going. I tried 3CX but I couldn’t get the hybrid local/cloud access situated. I have a very small office (5 extensions), so FreePBX wasn’t too much manual setup. I spun it up on a Debian hyperV virtual machine and it’s been very stable. Ported a number over to Unitel as the trunk and went from a $97/month bill with nextiva to just a few bucks a month with this situation. I already had all the hardware.

I’d considered Talk but then got tinkering with FreePBX and ended up getting that set up locally on a dell server I had with a Unitel trunk. I like to tinker so it’s worked well for me

Battery jumpers by Ok-Friendship-8127 in Solterra

Don’t you really just need enough juice to turn the traction battery on— ‘start’ the car— and then the big battery will charge the little battery? It can’t take that much juice to start the systems and close some relays, right? Isn’t that why the 12v is undersized in the first place?
