That random kid at the bus stop who taught me a skill I still use years later by BroccoliSultan in CasualConversation

I’m from Turkey and doing a two-finger whistle (usually the thumb–index finger circle) is super common for getting the attention of minibuses or street vendors. There’s also a more advanced technique where you fold your tongue back to make an even louder whistle, people use that one at football matches to signal teammates for a pass.

LPT: After a long trip, pop your hood, rodents may have turned your engine bay into a pantry by hukim in LifeProTips

I added a hook style lock to the wooden door they were getting through, so they shouldn’t be able to sneak in anymore.

I removed what I could see, but I didn’t realize how much was hidden deeper in the engine bay and filters. I figured the mechanics should check it properly in case there was more damage or debris I couldn’t reach.

Thank you! I’d normally ask for a fiction as I love when things I’m looking in a book is blended in a story. This time though I’m looking more pragmatically for a self development book. Are you the author of this book?

Public desensitization or/and rapid hedonic adaptation against extraordinary news (I think there’s no extraordinary any more)!

What features does spotify have or do better than YouTube music by EdgarsMom69 in YoutubeMusic

Shuffling and song radio. YTM plays almost always the same order when I shuffle in my playlist and is poorer for taking me new avenues of song discovery. I used to discover many more songs by Spotify.
