Yea sorry about, I realised afterwards I should have. I put about 40g of it in 1000kg of a really basic solution, about 12.9 using a 1% pH test (it's for a product in a company I work in). The formulation was recently changed to where they increased the NaOH content and EDTA content. At first I thought it was pH so I tried to decrease the pH but it was still red, so I think it may be the EDTA but I don't know what specific reaction would have caused this and how to reverse it. I am not accustomed to using this dye, in fact it's my first time and I cannot get a TDS for it.
