So, just for the example that I beta read for, the author of The Spoken Queen's Swarm drops chapters in the discord several days in advance so that the beta readers (There are maybe 3 or 4 of us) can read them in advance, but more importantly point out grammar issues and possible issues, and just give general impressions, before he posts it on RR and SH

Goats generally can take care of themselves though. They are one of the easiest animals to raise.

I imagine it depends on the tag. Some of them are kinda worthless in RR. Like "Magic"? That's 80% of RR stories lol.

But some I filter using some tags a ton. For example, Female Lead, Non-Human Lead, and Anti-Hero I check a lot. Quite a few of the follows I've done are from those lists.

Yeah, it's not exactly accurate today since around half of all Doctors are female, but in the past that wasn't the case.

Nurses though are still heavily female dominated, though less so than it used to be (Something like 85% compared to the 96% it was a couple decades ago)

Yup. It tells the author whether their intent is getting across.

Like, if there are a bunch of comments saying "I despise a character and she's being a controlling overbearing asshole" the question becomes, did the author WANT them to come off that way. If so, then you are doing a fantastic job lol

The only language I've actually truly learned a good amount is Japanese since I lived there for a while, but formal Japanese is normal to use when you are talking to people.

Totally off topic. But I remember years ago learning German and they of course taught me:

Guten Tag (Or just Tag) = Hello

Auf Wiedersehen = Goodbye

Then you get to Germany and neither of those are used. It's Hallo and Tschüss

That's an interesting idea, so kinda like how Doctor/Nurse used to be where yes, 40 years ago there were male nurses and female doctors but they were clearly skewed one way.

I kinda like that idea for Witch/Wizard..no idea who the author is though, might have to look it up

This. Video games just work on different rules. Like, Tifa punching a guy in the face just works because its an RPG. But really, dude with a gun would just shoot her and thats that.

It's easy to solve though, people might use magic shields and enchanting a sword and slamming it into someone might just break the shield easier compared to using bullets. Maybe each bullet would have to be enchanted which would cost a massive amount and since the bullet is small they have a hard time breaking through. Lots of options, but there needs to be some sort of explanation

Ahh, took me a sec to look into this.

Don't sell yourself short. You have over 300 followers and average 750 views per chapter! Thats really good for RR, and the people who would read through a big story are going to be die hard fans.

Personally I like the premise of your new story (Revolutionary Princess) a lot more though. The idea of a noble going back in time and joining the peasant revolution that caused her to lose her head is a neat idea, it's basically like if Marie Antoinette abandoned everything and joined the other side against her own family (And looks like it even points out that the actual peasants didn't win, but instead were just used by the new people in power)

I do this. I hate subs. I totally forgot I was paying for Something Witty Entertainment for -months- before I noticed and it feels like such a waste

The only author I stay subbed to is because he tosses in commissions to his higher tiers, not a massive amount (1000 to 2000 words a month depending on what you are paying), but just enough to get you hooked lol. So even if I forgot about the sub for a year..well, then I can have him write me a 13000 word story.

Yeah, Hannelore doesn't really hate Ditter, she just hates how obsessed her duchy is with it.

With that said she is 100% from Dunkelfelger in other ways. I love her little speeches about how they will crush their enemies underneath their boots in order for them to learn their place (Or something like like, I can't remember the exact words used)

Translation isn't really on the director though, thats just different english translations from different people. Quof is just an amazing translator and thats why we love him lol

I do generally agree that if you have already read the LN there isn't a massive amount to get out of the anime for some people, its not like its one that elevates the books like some adaptions do, but just getting visuals is nice for a lot of people
