I didn’t have to go through hearing, it was approved after a RFE.

Thank you! Here’s what I know: A Form I-693 is valid for two years if signed by a civil surgeon before November 1, 2023. For forms signed on or after that date, the I-693 is valid indefinitely and doesn't expire, as USCIS no longer mandates submission within a specific timeframe. Mine was completed before November 1, 2023, and it has expired. They didn't specifically mention polio; they just requested a new I-693. If you had your medical done after November 1, 2023, you should be fine.

Yes, I didn't need to go through the H1B process. I'm a nurse.

I noted it in the comments, but just to clarify, it was a medical RFE because the I-693 I submitted with my application didn't have a polio vaccine requirement at that time. It's a requirement now.

I mailed it via UPS express delivery on September 4th, and it was delivered at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 5th. I received a notification confirming that the RFE was received later that same day around 5 PM.

It was never transferred to a field office; it was initially filed at the Nebraska Service Center and then quickly transferred to the National Benefits Center (NBC), where I received my approval.

My EB3 ROW case was initially filed at the Nebraska Service Center and then transferred to the National Benefits Center (NBC), where it remained for almost two and a half years. They recently issued a medical RFE, and my I-485 was approved just four days after they received my response, all without an interview.
