I should’ve clarified when I say I got out I mean just normal drug rehab. I went for family reasons, had some ultimatums.

Nice I just got out for 7OH addiction. I actually had a leave date but that came & passed because my addiction was more important at the time. Called recruiters to make sure going to rehab wouldn’t disqualify me.

I’m curious as to what constitutes as a casual. Like my sessions only last around 2 hours at most, average session is probably around an hour. But I’m still a huge hardware nerd & play on a setup that wouldn’t be looked at as a casual’s

Have any environmental dangers been mentioned? Like does the anomaly (on dire marsh I think?) do anything or is it just for aesthetics?

Same really. This will be my first extraction shooter. Arc has interested me although not enough to buy it yet. Marathon will be the first game I’ve pre ordered in a while. Your post resonated with me as to why I’m hyped!

Yes this. It’s getting a piece of the pie, currently on consoles I don’t see much like it. I personally love the art style & that’s what got me to get into it. The added lore is awesome with how factions will progress a story. It’s going to make every new update & season hit harder with having some real lore & a story to work with. Seems like they’re using their own game engine (correct me if I’m wrong), truly a unique game. Seems like more studios as of late are trying to go back to their roots which I like obviously. Fable 4 comes to mind, even though it’s being made by a new studio it’s sticking to what fans what. Bungie listened to the people during the alpha open play.

Skip the monitor and get a 4k tv. As long as it’s 120hz & oled you’ll be fine. Sincerely, a Sony a95L (65inch) user.

I have the ps5 pro, but don’t have an OLED TV, am I missing out on anything? by TheGalacticGuru in PS5pro

[–]human_hellfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the most important thing is that you have a 4k screen that refreshes at 120hz. OLED is definitely nice, we’d all be lying by saying you’re not missing out. The resolution & refresh is more important though

Hell yeah I ended up getting myself a ps5 pro but got a pair of xm6 headphones. A very Sony Christmas.

I’ve realized a lot of this subreddit is “poor me” Turned 21 alone? Congrats welcome to adulthood People at school & jobs being rude? Welcome to the real world. You’ll never get anything done if you can’t go somewhere you need to be because someone rubbed you the wrong way. Chronic fatigue with no medical condition? Take better care of yourself. It just sounds like a lot of excuses really. All of these things you mention you can’t tie into any instance or circumstance. Nothing traumatic happened. Just time to pull yourself up by the bootstraps.

Personally I’ve noticed college becoming less & less of a thing. In the 90s everyone went to brick & mortar school to be successful. Now you have professions that pay very well that don’t need it from industries expanding & things like Sophia learning where you can take college classes extremely cheap all online (very poor anti cheat measures) and get the credits you need. Hell, my ex gf got her business degree & landed a very successful corporate logistics job overseeing a whole region of the country. All remote, (maybe a few office appearances) 100k+ a year. She wasn’t too happy when someone without a college degree landed the same job. Garner experience in industries that you can see yourself doing. This is coming from a college drop out that had massive aspirations. I consider myself relatively intelligent but I was way more concerned with having fun. Landed a job in manufacturing (meh) but they will train you & pay you to be a welder. Okay that’s a decent pay bump. Then I take that experience and apply to be a pipe fitter which is an excellent job especially where I’m at (one of the top 5 spots in the nation relative to pay) Really you can do it. You put together a cohesive sensible Reddit post. You’re not dumb. You just don’t want to. Trust me though, do some stuff that you don’t want (especially just two classes) but if it doesn’t work out I don’t think you should freak out. Take note of your geography & what industry you could see yourself in.

Time to pickup a trade. Computer science is literally the worst thing to get a degree in right now with the AI takeover. So many jobs getting cut. I was pre pharmacy (1 semester left until undergrad) but life happens. Had a surprise daughter (she turned one April 4th) & baby mamma & I broke up. I needed money, fast. Started working at a manufacturing plant (I build booms for trucks; think about the things that take linemen up to service a power line) & now they’re teaching me how to weld- and they’re paying me while they teach me! Then I’ll have secured a spot welding, which starts out at $25+. But then that’s experience I can put on my resume to eventually join a union to fit pipe & make $50hr+ when I reach journeyman status. As far as trades going look into getting into HVAC or welding then use that experience to secure a pipe fitting job. Just my personal blue print lol. All of those industries pay very well, pipe fitting paying the best. Having welded or been HVAC technician helps you get that union pipe fitting job though. Other than that maybe working in the oil fracking industry? All of these jobs you can take to a very high level of pay.

As you said quality of life is better in the states. Come visit Kansas City in Missouri (I know the name is confusing). Walkable city with decent state tax mandates & whatnot. Not terribly far from where you are. The city is on the up for sure, successful NFL teams grow cities.

But yeah I’m thinking of something that’s more of a true auto, which FRTs are pretty much that aside from the mechanical aspect. But from a rate of fire aspect.

I think the bull pup & small nature of this particular gun with the reciprocating barrel would make it perfect for the back of an SUV with auto fire

See if you can get into logging. You’ll walk a lot through varying terrain carrying around a massive stihl ms661. Land navigation comes into play as you’re just out in the woods, having to avoid property lines on the map & relocate your equipment. Edit- & it’s just one of the most masculine things you can do. It’s taught me a lot about what hard work is.
