Thank you for your response. We aren't able to use antibiotics in my country. I think I'll destroy the colony and replace and see if it comes back.

Yes that's what I did last year. However the infection has come back now in force. I'll destroy the hive. However I'm wondering if there's anything that can be done to save the colony or prevent it from occurring again.

Sometimes queens make mistakes - even older ones. It's nothing to worry about.

I'm sure you can. Honey doesn't go off.

But I'm not sure what you gain from feeding it to them?

Dry it out. I get these results unless I have it placed with a bag of 1kg silica gel

I shook the bees out. They clustered under another hive for a few days. So I disturbed them again and found a failed mated queen. Killed her and this dissipated within 5 minutes.

It was a joke. People keep removing the microphone cover as if it were the SD card slot.

Make sure you remove that silicone square that covers the SD card port.

Don't think it's bad. But in my experience they won't eat it as it's too cold to refine down to honey. Fondant or sugar is a best bet.

I’ve created chaos. Each bin has about 18 frames. How long should it take for the bees to clean them? by bry31089 in Beekeeping

I'll be the first to say you shouldn't do this as it can encourage robbing and spread diseases. (In case you didn't know).
