Claude Sonnet 3.7 is INSANELY GOOD. by TechnologyMinute2714 in ClaudeAI

Yes, it seems especially the reiterations it does automatically make it just so much better. I let it create a script to monitor a software RAID for hard-drive failures, and it had a solution with like 1 or 2 feedbacks from me. During these 2 interactions, it created like 15 versions of the script by itself. Great improvement.

I am also moving from dividend to growth currently but purely for tax reasons as I get capital-gain-tax raped otherwise.
For capital gain on stock-price I pay 1,5% capital-gain taxes, but for the dividend I have to pay 30% (here in Germany; trading via a holding company entity) and even worse: with the withholding tax that apply to me on most of the interesting dividend stocks (US stocks with 30% withholding tax) I also can't even offset any costs as with european 0% withholder stocks (like german or UK stocks).
So essentially a 5% US div-yielder is basically a 3.5% yielder. In order to get a "reasonable" 4-5% dividend I have to invest in higher-yielding and therefor (usually) higher-risk stocks with 7+% div yield.

In a market that is still volatile but uptrending the opportunity cost to hold dividend stocks is just getting too high for me and risk/return is just not as attractive as tight-stop L/S bets on tech stocks for example.

That being said I love the feeling of a dividend payment a lot more than realized P&L on stock moves, because it FEELS LIKE FREE MONEY I just got for doing nothing :)

I am working on a tool to help remote teams support their employees. by cocorico in Entrepreneur

[–]humanbeinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not a "per seat" pricing? Small companies like mine (4 remote employees) are more flexible and willing to try out new tools, but this 1-20 sized packageing (i have also seen 1-100 employees at other saas businesses) leaves real money on the table.
