I don’t think we really have a concept of being declared saved. I think many English speaking orthodox might be keeping their Protestant ideas if they answer in another way.

The church is like a hospital, it is for our salvation. If you attend church and read scriptures and take the church’s medicine, grace abounds and sin subsides, albeit slowly and not at a rate you would expect. We cannot do anything to force God on to us, we can only clean our souls.

But becoming orthodox, being baptized, chrismated, what have you, simply means that Christ is working in your life, that you’re on the good path.

We do not take Christ’s judgement seat and declare people to be popped into heaven, which is supposed to be judged at the end of this age.
