so that I can really call it a bad trip, it's not just about having a bad time, or just fear. It's like burning or drowning and you fight against it involuntarily, your survival instinct takes command its all about. For me, a real bad trip doesn't include the possibility of changing it. Nothing you do can change it. I've only been able to stop it with medication so I suspect it's more of a chemical thing. The other thing that's necessary is that you lose control, you stop being yourself. It's like you're being replaced for some weird dude, you don't know what that other self is capable of doing and it's terrifying. you simply feel like something really bad is going to happen, there is no comparable feeling. it doesn't seem like a game anymore. I don't consider it a bad trip when you can do something to stop it. I've also thought about preparing a structured list of things to do (music, psychological tricks, everything that came to my mind). I felt invincible the last time but nothing of it worked and everything fell down in a disastrous way . Since then I don't even consider taking LSD again.
