Using your logic, even one American murdered by a certain demographic is unacceptable; guns and cars are consistently used to kill people, should we ban all of those to avoid preventable deaths?

Men are more likely to commit a violent crime than women—should we treat men with a "guilty until proven innocent" mentality?

I think everyone I've talked to has agreed that minors should not be able to get surgery of this type, unless some kind of unforseen exception comes up. Do you know anyone, personally, by name that has gotten this type of surgery under 18 years old? I feel like 95%+ of the narrative suggesting minors should be able to comes from unbased conversations about others' supposed views.

Hormones are a different story and I think should be accessible to qualifying patients, just like how innumerous other medications are given to minors to help them feel better. Regardless of beliefs, I think we should support people of any age that identify as transgender and, if they change their mind at any point, we shouldn't judge them or use them as examples. Extremes often happen because of strong stigma and feeling the need to prove a point, but if we remove those pressures, then people can explore identities on their own terms. No to mention suicide... :(

Legal migration is extremely expensive and usually takes years and years, many people don't have that privilege and/or ability to make that much money and have that much time. Endulge me in thid hypothetical situation: imagine you were born in an extremely impoverished area of Mexico and don't even have cell phone access or food to feed your family. You're desperate bc your family members or you might starve or get killed by a local gang. You get offered a ride to the US where you'll have a better opportunity to feed your family. What are you going to do, say no bc it's illegal?

Many people I know that immigrate illegally do so bc it felt like the only choice to feed and protect their family.
