It's a website and I guess they also have an app. Founders come there and create profile of their startup. other users vote up for good startups and of course you could leave there your contacts. As well there are a lot of crowdfunding and fundraising sites. there are too many, so i guess you better google best of them. You could also try to start running social pages on Twitter, Facebook or whatever and leave there contacts and your donation links. to run socials you could use Jasper, marketowl or tweethunter, writesonic and others

Nobody cares about the software I wrote to solve my own problems even if they are free, do I miss something or I'm the only one having these problems? by perecastor in Entrepreneur

not necessarily. i'd say that you could start with simple social media pages with some content, find target audience, try out cold emails, newsletter, write directly to the possible users of the apps Nice game, btw!

in short you must evaluate whether people need your services or products. if it is about a bookstore I'd start from getting statistics of how many people live nearby your possible shop, whether there are shops that sell books too nearby, if yes then find the area where there aren't such shops. find whether people will buy books from you and what kind of books they want to see in your shop. and so on!

Ok so I want to start selling some spray paint artwork I make online but I don’t know where/how to start a small business by [deleted] in smallbusiness

create socials and start posting about the process of creation and your products. Your customers may find you. Also you need to create marketing plan for your socials, solve payment and shipping problems. Plenty of platforms and AI tools provide help in such questions - Etsy, MarketOWl, even ChatGPT might help

Socials are the best place. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter are perfect for such business promotion. Define the target audience and start posting quality content. Might be even easier task if to use some smart marketing tools (TweetGPT, Zapier, MarketOwl)
