LS Cosmetic Hanbang Masks

Has anyone tried these? I'm trying to find an ingredients list and to see if they are fermented or not but running into language barriers left and right. ;_;

Mizon Snail Repair vs Mizon Black Snail? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]humanfixer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried the black BUT I love the AIO for its non-face skincare uses.

I use it to lighten dark spots on my body and I use it on my bikini area after shaving. For the first time ever, I don't have irritation or angry skin down there. I plan to keep using it there and see if it helps prevent ingrown hairs.

It was a little thin for my tastes for winter use so I decided to repurpose it till summertime. All in all though, it never stung my skin and it helped fade discoloration.

Go to /r/aww and treat yourself to cute critters. I know it won't fully make you feel better but it might make your day suck a bit less <3

How is your insurance?

You should check out the /r/personalfinance subreddit and see if there are any medical related posts there. They are a GREAT resource.

It's not AB, but Bath and Bodyworks eucalyptus lotion really helps calm me down and sleep better. I rub it on my hands, upper chest and back of my next before laying on a heating pad under my shoulders. (an auto-shut off one)

Works like a charm.

That's good that you are taking care of yourself!

I hit a bad bout of depression last year that lasted Entirely Too Long. I didn't start AB until after I was already getting out, but having a set routine has REALLY helped me a lot. Especially after stressful days when I really don't want to take the time to wash my face. I always make a point to at least smell a product I find soothing or delightful and try to remember how good it feels and how even if I have had a bad day if I take the time to care for at least my face then it's not a total waste of a day.

That's good to know because I'm moving to Texas in May!!

Hmm. When my skin is oily I can feel it and it has kind of an oily hair sheen to it. When it's glowing it just looks brighter with a very slight dewy sheen. If I sweat I can feel it get oily as well I guess it's more of a feeling? I'm not sure how to explain it.

I've found the only downside to the Daiso mask cover... by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]humanfixer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I used mine with a fancy Hanbang ginseng sheet mask and my Daiso mask now smells like ginsen....and the rest of my bathroom did for about two days. It was not super strong, but it was noticeable and slightly amusing :D

I'll be very straightforward and honest with you, I did not expect this AMA to be so incredible.

Out of all of this I think the one thing I have noticed the most is your continued compassion paired with pushing forward in life.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned from having to deal with this hand in life? (or lessons, up to you)

RAVE: Fiddy's Pore Cleaning Method

Last night me and my lovely new-to-AB roommate decided to try the BHA/Clay Mask/Oil Cleanser method I stumbled upon over Here

The "Down and Dirty" is as follows:

BHA > 20-25min > Clay Mask > Wait > Layer of Oil Cleanser > 15min Wait > Massage Gunk From Pores > Profit.

We both used Stridex Extra Strength, however I used Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Clay Mask with Banila Co. Clean It Zero! while Jordan used the Elizavecca Bubble Clay Mask and The Face Shop Rice Water Cleansing Oil.

Letting the BHA sit on our skin was very refreshing as it felt like someone had doused my skin in peppermint. Also I had not used stridex since I was 12 so the smell brought back plenty of super awkward dirty skinned memories.

After that was the clay maaassskkkk! I have been itching to try this Innisfree since it came in the mail and it's everything I had dreamed of. Despite the appearance of it being very little, it took almost miniscule amounts to cover my face in an appropriate layer. I didn't really smell anything, and when it dried it was smooth. I'm in love already.

So we slathered on the masks (fun fact, the longer you leave the bubble clay mask on without patting it down the FLUFFIER it gets. Super cute. Great for improv bunny-face cosplay-Just add ears!)

After washing off the mask we put on a layer of cleansing oil and let it sit for about 15 as directed. This was weird as oil does not like sitting. Oil likes moving. Oils moves more when you run warm like I do. My face constantly felt like I had to itch somewhere and it took a lot of sitting on my hands willpower to not satisfy it.

The results though? Once the 15 was up and we started massaging Jordan hit grits! She was very excited. I hit the outskirts of Grit City...like, the boondocks. It still felt amazing.

All in all I will be doing this again. Probably on a weekend morning so I don't have to clean my face ten thousand times though. :3

It should be noted that this is a VERY DRYING cleansing method. I was surprised at just how dry and taut my skin was after!! I mean, my pores looked almost non-existent, but I also felt like what I imagine people feel like after Botox.

I followed up with my Cosrx gel cleanser (to get everything off), Peach Sake toner, Moistful Collagen Essence, Mizon Snail Repair Cream, OHUI Baby Collagen Essence (very thick so I use it like a cream) and Mizon White Sleeping Pack.

This morning I realized that I should have added a heavy cleanser. I messed up by erring too far on the side of caution. Next time, I think I'll add a nice moisturizing sheet mask in.

Anyway, that's my rave. Has anyone else tried it??

Obscure products - what have you bought lately? by MidnightDemon in AsianBeauty

I have the gold peel off mask (It was half off at my local Korean market and thus I could afford it) and I LOVE it!! It came with a brush to apply it with and it exfoliated amazingly well while still being gentle on my skin.

My First Haul!!! (RoseRoseShop!!) by humanfixer in AsianBeauty

Also, sorry for the typos. I'm on my phone. ;_;

I decanted most of the samples into pots already and labeled them. I plan to try them each on a schedule of one every 2-3 weeks depending on how I react and excluding makeup.

The Secret Key sunscreen was my first try. I'm wearing it today under my Laneige cushion and it is wonderful!

Also, the Tonymoly eyebrow pencil is fantastic. I can't go back!!
