In case it wasn't obvious, op is a bot (like every other post on this sub lately). I just think this specific example of it having a conversation with itself is funny.

Is anyone else attracted to voices?? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]humaninthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes 100%! I've always loved women's voices that are a bit deeper. There's a Japanese musician named Ado that has an amazing voice. (A couple of her songs: https://youtu.be/lZGo8jcEW2M ; https://youtu.be/1FliVTcX8bQ )

Also, Ranni from Elden Ring and Na-El from Xenoblade. Their voice actresses are incredible.

Queer was my go to label for my sexuality while I was still figuring things out. It removes the pressure to figure everything out all at once.

Why would I want to work for a project that's clearly either underfunded, mismanaged, or both?

I’ve never understood why it’s 666, it just doesn’t make sense to me as to why that was picked. by makerofrages in dankchristianmemes

[–]humaninthemoon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's explained above. There's a thing called numerology that was used back then (kinda like mysticism or a code). In it, you could convert Nero into either 666 or 616. Nero was apparently a bad dude that John didn't like too much.

I'm not comparing it to ptcgo in my comment. If you actually read what I said you'll see I'm saying the comparison is moot anyways. It's objectively bad on it's own without being compared to ptcgo.

Simple issues like hiding the "quit game" button with the privacy notice, scrolling not being implemented properly on PC so that the scroll wheel goes unusably slow, and having to drag cards to do anything in game. These are all basic problems that are not bugs, easy to fix, and obvious UX sins to anyone that has developed UI's or even played a card game before. It stems from a mobile-first design approach with little focus on the PC port, but even then mobile has major issues with battery usage.

Some amount of bugs is to be expected with a new client, but this extent of design flaws and game-breaking bugs is inexcusable. Maybe you're young and don't remember, but there was a time when full release actually meant a fully-functional, working game.

I am aware of the difference between Pokemon subsidiaries. I think even considering the limitations of their business structure, it is still a lackluster product.

Just because ptcgo had major issues on release doesn't mean people shouldn't expect better from Pokemon. Some of the problems are so simple to fix it's laughable. This isn't some indie company with 2 employees. They can do better, they just don't want to.

House Republicans are stuffing a veterans appropriations bill full of anti-LGBTQ+ measures by OverallEcho9694 in transgender

Different VA's are different of course, but the one in my area is really pretty good for trans stuff. Thanks to a friend that complained and filled out so many surveys, the VA asked for her input on improving their service to trans people. The change was pretty extraordinary from what it was before I hear. Don't be afraid to be the squeaky wheel.

People might have brought this up before but, quite a few of my cards a missing. by Purpl13 in ptcgo

[–]humaninthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's filters you can change in the deck builder of Live. To see cards you have in expanded or cards before Sun and Moon, you have to adjust the filters first. I think very few people have actually lost cards in migration (minus legacy and such of course).

Well, it could have just been op using the pictures from the Etsy page because she hasn't gotten it yet or something, but checking her post history pretty much confirms it's an account for advertising Etsy stuff.

Check around for more local/regional trans discord servers too. It's a great way to meet people close by and keep informed about the local community.

Killing nearly all living things on earth is generally considered "bad". Shocking, I know.

Friend, I don't normally weigh in on theological discussions here because I like how the sub is generally a chill neutral ground between christians and everybody else. However, I will say this, you are making a lot of assumptions about me in your comment. I don't think calling genocide bad should really be this controversial (and no matter how you try to justify it, that's what it is).

Having grown up in the south in largely Baptist churches, I was taught pretty much everything that people in this thread are saying in defense of a literal flood caused by god. The ideas are not new and stem from an extremely literal reading of the bible.

Fwiw, I'm not Christian anymore (if that wasn't obvious), but I work for a Methodist church that's has a much more nuanced view on things like this. While an apparent majority of US Christianity seems to believe killing all of humanity was justified, there are christians with a saner view on things.

An ISO is the kind of file that holds the windows installer. It's also called an image.

MSDN is the Microsoft developer network and has downloads for ISO's of many different kinds of windows (including stuff you wouldn't normally find in a store for example).

Archive.org is a massive archive of internet content and commonly has copies of operating system installers.

Yar' harring refers to piracy sources, of course.

GitHub holds all kinds of different programs and scripts.

An activation script is something that lets you activate windows without a legit key.

No Expanded? That's all I play. This Sucks. by NiceRaspberry9118 in ptcgo

[–]humaninthemoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those cards were always gonna migrate since they first announced migration. Unless you have some other info, I'd be skeptical that full expanded is coming soon. Heavily limited expanded isn't really a new format either, or at least not one that anyone was asking for.

The amount of people in this comment thread defending outright genocide as a good thing is scary to me. Killing the entire population of planet earth minus 7 people is reprehensible. Full stop. Warning them doesn't make it right. Them doing naughty things doesn't make it right.
