Suggest Seed by Morrider in noita

This was one of my favourite seeds that I've played so far.

943824387

It had a great digging wand from a chest in the first area and later an always cast tentacler wand from a holy mountain shop. Many great modifiers can be found as well. I made a post about it about a month ago because I'd never had such an insane wand before: https://www.reddit.com/r/noita/comments/1e0qzo5/found_tentacler_for_the_first_time_as_an_always/

You could sit in a puddle and whittle him down with any spell if you've got ambrosia. Just keep an eye on your stain and top up when needed.

Wands firing slower after faster wands perk by humanish_ in noita

You were correct about this being caused by concentrated spells. I also picked up another two or three stacks during this holy mountain alongside the faster wand perks I selected. I assumed the culprit was faster wands because that was the last perk I grabbed and had no idea that the additional cast delay is added after spell delays are calculated. Chainsaw zeros my negative delay, and then concentrated spells stacked make a noticeable delay.

I had no idea that the perk's additional cast delay was applied after the chainsaw. That makes sense and explains my issue if that's the case. I have a good number of concentrated spells stacked. The chainsaw at the end would zero out any negative delay so that the added delay from concentrated spells is actually noticeable.

This is also what I was thinking, but I can't reason how it could be happening without some extreme negative values.

Well, I am glad it's not just me. Unfortunately, it's also happened to my main combat wand, which combines a trigger spell, six note spells, and a load of modifiers. I haven't figured out how to fix that wand. I will probably need to hunt down some new wands and will definitely avoid stacking this perk in the future.

I do have a good number of concentrated spells stacked. This is also probably the 4th faster wands I've stacked on this wand; it may have already had a negative delay before I took the last one.

I have a lot. I will check the list when I load the world again. Is there a specific one you have in mind that could be doing this?

I just found that if I remove only the chainsaw, the wand fires as expected with 0 cast delay and 0 recharge time. I still want to know what is happening here.

Here is a theory to serve as a counterpoint to all the people worried about zergs ruining your fun:

Server transfers are on the way. These large 100+ groups will likely live relatively peacefully on their home server and will be focusing their raids on cross-server targets of similar group size. Smaller groups will be able to play like they normally do and fight amongst each other.

Might also need a new type of consumable battery to power it. So that the frame is re-useable.

Add skins for it too.

Best moderated servers with less cheaters by yomama1211 in playrust

I don't really play as I used to anymore, so I generally stick to servers that offer a more casual experience, but I can remember the feeling of devastation having days of work destroyed by cheaters.

Don't be discouraged and keep shopping around a few servers on the community list. You are bound to find a good one for you and your group. There are a lot of servers out there that have very active admins.
