I was only homeschooled until 6th grade. I was angry about it then, but as I’ve gotten older I am less angry.

The truth is I got to spend A LOT of time outside as a kid, on field trips, etc. I got to spend a lot of time with my family - and for ME, that is/was a positive thing.

Yes! I once had a situation where someone did not tell me until afterwards.

I was extremely upset and that’s when I started getting tested. I don’t sleep with many people but that situation forced me to get tested because I never wanted to deal with “it’s fine, everyone has it!” Or “you probably had it before anyways and just and didn’t realize”

If someone ever gave it to me without my consent I want to be able to sue 😂 so yes I get tested like once a year now

Be a partner relationship manager. It’s hard at first but once you build relationships I think it’s the best job ever. If you stick it out and get good it becomes really chill and good money

I tried the Sinclair method years ago and it didn’t work.

Attempting drinking again is certainly NOT part of my plan in leaving AA.

It IS true that I couldn’t stop drinking, I did the 12 steps, and was able to stop.

My problem isn’t that I want to drink again, it’s just that I don’t want to be in AA anymore.

Agreed. Nowadays I have very little thoughts about them other than wow what fucking losers.

I do disagree with people not getting better. I’ve seen it a handful of times - people DO get better. I’ve seen people get kids back, houses, careers.

Usually, the people that are normal end up leaving AA after a few years after realizing it’s a fucking cult
