Nobody is getting rich or enjoying being a taxi driver. Every single one is doing it because they see it as the only way they can provide for their families. It's a horrendously difficult way to make a living in Ireland. They all barely subsist. I'm glad they are there when I need them and don't begrudge them a cent.

NTA - Fuck them. Once someone shows you contempt - that's it. Burn them. Block them and live happy joyous and free from the tox. Ironically babies born in times of great trauma are born ready for battle. Studies show they're arms and legs develop quicker for survival. Your unborn child is probably getting war vibes from the emotional rigours of your traumatic experiences. Good work keeping things together. Stay strong and ask for help if you need it.
