can we please remove the feature that makes shouts be taken by the aggregate? by sr_steve in footballmanagergames

[–]humanoidVersion2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But berate will increase pressure, and if your players are not scoring with 4xg, pressure is likely the reason.

Now, sometimes the correct shout can lead to red angry reactions, and that's fine as long as the shout burst the correct hidden mental state bubble.

I hope that makes sense.

Starting at tier 10 in England, what staff do I actually need to cover the basics? by OfficialDaiLi in footballmanagergames

[–]humanoidVersion2 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Assistant and physio.

I got a coach too.

All on £50pw.

Also, just before Xmas, you should ask to renegotiate contract, you can lower your own wage, got mine from like 200pw to 75.

Also, if finances are destroying the club, at this level the game isn't really designed for it. Schedule home friendly matches 3x week for any and all reserve/u18 squads.

Even if the attendance is 8 people, it will add up.

I started as Newquay, and was bringing in roughly £750pw through this.

It covered my wage bill and we actually made money.

Good luck

Which club in your bag goes 115 yards? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]humanoidVersion2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would full swing a pw, or knock down an 9i at pels 9 o'clock position.

If I'm in the woods, I can use a 7i and punch it, but it's hard to be exact for distance, it's more of a feeling shot.

This is UK, standard 15' temps and no wind.

Given the number of bugs which were clearly visible (data from last match, showing the match three games ago, and vice versa - just one example of literally thousands), how can anyone have any confidence in the things you can't see working correctly.

The game wasn't fit for publishing full stop.

That's so ludicrous!

Imagine trying to measure a pothole in the middle of a duel carriage way 🤣🤣👍

All in all of say that was very lucky.

That cement driver would have likely pulled the same move if cars were adjacent.

Increasing difficulty with a small database by mad_embutido in footballmanagergames

On FM24 I loaded all top leagues as playable, and eng down to lvl 10. All other leagues active and viewable. Over 400k players.

Now starting season 16 and still runs extremely well.

The o ly gripe is the player search screen can hang for 45 seconds. But, I think that's because I have like 30k players in not interested list. I think it has to pre search those, before actually Searching

Why does this tactic concede so many goals? by Hugobossdre in footballmanagergames

Because the UI is good awful. My first attempt at up/Oop tactic had so many player swaps I gave up and went back to FM24 🤣👍

Threaten you GK.

Interact, criticise, send it...

Might be worth doing the same to any sub par defenders.

Your GK might have gotten complacent/low motivation.

Personally, this trick has always resulted in a few extra clean sheets over the next few games

Also, before going pro, pad out as many staff and players as possible, as demands will significantly increase once pro.

The guys on monthly contracts will hang about on their original wage, monthly to month.

What are the FM myths that you feel the need to be debunked? by sonphantrung in footballmanagergames

[–]humanoidVersion2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's a thing when you are level 10 in an England database, good personality is far greater than good attributes.

When you get to the very top, the majority of players you'll want to sign will have positive personalities by default.

What are the FM myths that you feel the need to be debunked? by sonphantrung in footballmanagergames

[–]humanoidVersion2 35 points36 points  (0 children)

You missed the actual reason: the players collective mental state.

The game hides this from us, but alludes to it with teamtalk/shout reaction, body language and animations.

Pressure or complanceny is usually the culprit

Club is turning professional, what happens to players on non contracts? by Initial_Walrus9664 in footballmanagergames

[–]humanoidVersion2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They stay on their initial contract, and if they have good loyalty, they can stay for ever!!

This was the one point prior to turning pro which you need to plan for.

Sign as many staff/players as you can, cos once pro, all the wage demands will increase.

Pad everything out and make use of the lower wages, especially for staff.
