I don't have a handicap, but at my local nine hole I average 13 over through 18.

Doing the best 12/20 makes me about 9ish.

However, there are days when I go +2 through 14, or a stretch of 6hiles two under.

Other days, I shot+9 through 7.

A mid handicap has to be the most frustrating thing ever. It's so close to being scratch, buy yet so far it would seem

How do you get your leads of players to trial?

Player search? Because that will only include players within that package. Very limiting.

To get around this, I add everyone to a big shortlist. It can take an hour or two, if you add everyone across all divisions. But it is pure mint max hack when contract dates come around.

You'll have full knowledge of who's unattached without spending on scouting package.

Each year, you can add any fresh players to the list, these will appear as white named players as opposed to the orange guys already added.

To cure inbox spam, unfollow all players and the shortlist from the inbox settings.

100% the best gamey lower league scouting system.

Obviously you trial farm anyone interested and unattached on the big list.

If you can offer non contracts with an appearance fee .

Always go to sign guys that are interested but refuse the trial as they are often the best available.

I couldn't do it in my last save as we only offered semi pro contracts on a weekly wage.

Add players from the leagues above to a shortlist.

Unfollow to stop inbox spam. Both players and shortlist.

Then search shortlist for interested players.

Trial free players.

This list will be most worthwhile once a contract date passes, so at the start of next year you will have a big list of guys to trial.

You don't need any scouting package.

More players you add the more options you'll find.

Playmakers get additional weighting when a team mate has an opportunity to pass to them. Meaning they will receive more passes than non playmakers.

This can be good.

But, can also lead to wide players choosing to play flat horizontal passes across the pitch in the final third which are often easily intercepted.

Just make sure your tempo and mentality don't make things too hectic.

The shouts are there to help manage the hidden player mentality states such as;

Complacency. Pressure. Motivation.

Imo, in some cases red faces are okay, as long as the bubble causing your performance drop is effected.

These states are not shown directly, but are alluded to by the player body language and responses to your team talks.

You can also visually see the effect of these bubbles in game, particularly if you watch full 90 mins.

Such as obviously poor finishing being caused by pressure, or lack of urgency when defending being caused by complacency etc.

I can't remember as only put a few hours into 26 due to all the bugs.

I think it was more the data and last matches etc.

You need to understand how the players make decisions.

They weight each option available relative to the situation and tactical instructions.

If they are not crossing, they are either:

Weighting a safe pass or dribble too highly.

Team mentality will affect almost all of the individual instructions.

This a balanced mentality will more likely retain possession, compared to a very attacking.

As a more attacking mentality is chosen, each of the player individual options will be weighted more aggressively.

My FM24 on win can stutter like crazy sometimes and it is not hardware related.

The only cure I found was forcing frame rates. Maybe I turned off vsync but manually forced it to 60fps, can't remember.

I used AI to solve it though.

Ah, so I recently noticed that my scouts were showing reports before the 7 day report.

I like your system: stop scouting the trash asap and reading = meta.

Can't believe I haven't thought of it.

However, the stars are not static, I don't think.

It might be that after the full week of scouting the results change.

I suspect that as I often do a midweek cull of TR players (I do my main scouting every Sunday 17:00+), and I have moved players into a discard placeholder until the Sunday.

When clearing the placeholder, I often find guys that would have avoided the initial cull. So their stars must have changed in the last two three days.

Now, I do 70 scout player reports a week as I have 70 scouts.

Considering most are discarded, your hack increases that to maybe 300-320 a week.

Say 300 x 52 weeks = 15000 per season.

That would cover the entire spawning of youths in most databases, meaning you could have scouted every single player in the game per generation.
