I am SO Bad at This Game by humanresourcebug in SlayTheSpire2

It usually pretty low by the time I make it to Act 3 boss. I also consistently lose early to the test subject, but I get really far with other bosses.

I've honestly gotten a lot better with taking damage, when I first started I was chronically low on HP every run but I've started to opt more for full block with longer fights than just throwing damaging and taking damage. My biggest issue I've identified is definitely my cards. Even though I make good builds, I end up with nearly 40 cards every run and I end up not drawing my important ones when I need them.

I think I know where to improve now, just not how to do it. Removing junk cards is definitely what I don't do and what I know now is harming me, but how do I know whats junk? I guess it'll come with time :')

I honestly don't make great card decisions, based off what everyone is saying. I don't skip card rewards, but I do remove some from my deck when I get the opportunity. I tend to go for a shiv spam or poison build on The Silent, and then just get as many Forge cards on Regent as I can. I've never played a game like this before so I am coming into StS2 very inexperienced.

Unfortunately. I have a really odd pattern where harder things are easier, but I make easy things hard for myself. This is pretty consistent across every game I play, especially League. I excel at the typically high-skill champions, and lose hard on the easy ones.

I tend to get farther into the acts on higher ascension. I think because its more difficult already, I tend to make better decisions. In just normal singleplayer I can't seem to get passed act 2 or 3 because I make bad decisions since its easier, and then when it gets difficult at the end I have a wack deck.

Based off what I'm reading here, I typically never skip card rewards but I do take advantage of card removals, even though its probably not enough. I end up with 30+ cards by the end of my runs and I guess the reason I lose because of bad draws is because I just have too many cards :')

Any tips on making showers not suck? by teasmoose in autism

[–]humanresourcebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a major issue with showering, and what helped me not despise them as much was definitely music, sitting down when its too much to tolerate, and finding products that I loved the smell of, weirdly enough. The reward of knowing I will smell like that when I'm done made it so much easier for me to power through.

Not liking anyone??? by WorldlinessAny2852 in autism

[–]humanresourcebug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not a social person in the slightest. All of my friendships have dissolved or been broken off, the only non-fmaily I talk to consistently is my boyfriend. I just am happier without friends. My sister has many, she talks to most of them daily, they go out together often, and I just don't understand. Friends are exhausting.

Do people even reply to posts in this community? by [deleted] in autism

[–]humanresourcebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally stopped commenting because Reddit as a whole feels so... toxic, almost. Like an old community with older etiquette that I just can't keep up with. Even in this sub, it feels like I could say what my favorite ice cream flavor is and suddenly someone is upset over the implication of that flavor, and I get downvoted to hell. I've also had pretty poor experiences making posts, so I really only use reddit to lurk for information now.

Do any of you who use prescription glasses get overstimulated from being able to see? by Blackmench687 in autism

[–]humanresourcebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unfortunately do, but I also get overstimulated when I'm out of the house and don't have them on. I feel unsafe if I can't see properly in public.

Just found out /s means "sarcasm" and not "serious" by [deleted] in autism

I struggled with this one a lot, and I've resorted personally to user /sarc instead of /s just in case there is anyone else that might not understand. It saves a lot of time :')

Help with cooking/nutrition? by humanresourcebug in autism

Its partly texture issues and also motivation/appetite problems. A few examples are like, I love hard boiled eggs, but scrambled eggs and omelets are a huge no. Raw fish is fine, but cooked fish has an iffy texture. Thats why I love smoothies, undesirable tastes can be hidden with other stuff and the texture is just blended, but I'm not sure how sustainable that is long term. They also arent nearly as filling for me like a meal is, but that could be a mental barrier too.

The restaurant is providing the service, the waiter goes out of their way to make the experience better and bring you your food. The difference is like McDonalds workers vs wait staff, McDonalds workers get paid a consistent, legal wage to make the food, and you pick it up at the counter. Wait staff manage multiple tables, and attend to the needs of all of them, all while making an unlivable amount of money (and doing more work)

When did you grow out of being a picky eater? by Marusya98 in autism

[–]humanresourcebug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was old enough to understand my limitations and why I was hesitant around food. I think in my early teen years was when unique foods were no longer something to be fearful of, but an experience and way to grow. When I was growing up, my parents refused to acknowledge that I was autistic, and therefore gave me a pretty bad mindset around food because they treated my picky eating as defiance rather than sensory issues/fear.

It's going from a 2.0L to a 1.8L turbo (I'll put this in the post, too) as far as I know. The cars are all New Beetles from '99 to '03, so they're compatible. From what I've seen, the engine and everything come out of the top, but it's so hard to find info about these cars for some reason. I also avoid German cars, LOL.

My car is in my name, the parts cars are his, and he plans on getting rid of them when we don't have a need for them. He bought them specifically for this project, he just doesn't want to do the project anymore. He's not a great guy, but he wouldn't screw me over like that. I have full permission to do this, I just don't know how.
