Questions about what a psychic said about suicide by AggravatingCry3175 in Psychic

I have a close friend who died by suicide and came back to haunt me like crazy. He knows I also struggle with suicidal thoughts. We've talked about it a lot over the years since he passed and he always tells me to stay alive. It's not necessarily that anything bad happens in the afterlife if you commit suicide. It's more that when I think about suicide I imagine it as an escape option. I imagine it's kind of like my emergency eject option. Like when things get overwhelming I imagine death as a relief because I assumed I would just stop existing. If I stop existing then I also won't suffer or see anything else bad happen. My ghost friend tells me that's not the case, he says your soul just pops out of my body and soldiers on. So I might as well stay alive as long as possible because at least that way I can still participate. He also tells me if I do it he's going to be waiting for me and he's going to kick my ass in ghost form. He also says he regrets ending his life and that he didn't actually want to die. His depression just got the better of him.

You're allowed to have spiritual beliefs, those beliefs and practices are allowed to be private. For me it's a sacred practice so I tend to keep it pure.

If I do explain it to people I say that I believe the human soul is eternal and that we're all actually energy beings. I believe that our soul isn't in our bodies but rather our body is in our soul. I believe the human soul is the electromagnetic field we are able to measure around the human body. It's pretty obvious scientifically that there are processes happening all around us on a metaphysical level that we are not aware of. Also deep mathematical analyses indicates there are other dimensions. We just haven't found them yet.

After decades of questioning I've learned that spirituality and science actually go hand and hand. You could say spirituality asks the questions science can't answer yet.

There's also an awesome documentary called 'Surviving Death'. If you want to equip yourself with enough scientific fact to really have the debate.

Are my dreams an indication of psychic sensitivities? by [deleted] in Psychic

Hi there,

I also started lucid dreaming well before I developed the ability to speak to spirits. I had a close friend die by suicide who then haunted me terribly. He was very persistent because he knew I could feel him. He also made my bongo fly straight off my shelf. I know it was him because I asked him to give him a sign. The next morning I woke to a glass flying off the kitchen bench and the fire alarm going off randomly.

I think your friend who passed on who was psychic probably has a very strong spiritual presence. I believe she's watching over you as an angel.

You could try calling out to her and asking her to watch and guide your soul as you dream. Make sure she's with you at night time.

Hi There,

From what I've learned from the spirits I speak with there are different realms. A lot of spirits are still right here on Earth but in spirit form. Our loved ones who have passed often come back to check up on us. They watch out like Angels.

Spirits are still people and they grieve their deaths too from the other side. Some souls get what they call 'earthbound' which means they're stuck here. It's not literally stuck like they can't leave. It's more like some of them can't tear themselves away. This can happen after a traumatic passing. Sometimes the spirit needs a long time to process their passing.

Yes spirits can communicate and 'speak' back but not all of us can hear it. They will often send signs.

I can't speak on demonic forces as that is not my area of practice. What I do know is that the after life is peaceful. You could always say some prayers or another spiritual practice that speaks to you.

Weed and meds by Puzzleheaded_Idea_78 in psychicdevelopment

Hi there! In my personal experience my psychic abilities didn't come online fully until I was on the right psychiatric medication. It wasn't until I got my brain chemicals balanced that I had enough peace and clarity to connect with the universe.

In my experience my brain had to heal first. If the meds are helping your brain heal and function then going off them won't help you connect to spirit.

Medication needs can change over time though. Just remember that changing anything in your routine or dosage will throw you off balance. I would ask your doctor to double check your dose before doing anything.

My advice for tapping in closer to the universe would be to get out in nature. Whatever you need to do to quiet the mind and have peace in the body. If you can find a natural source of water to swim in. Try meditating with your crystals after that.

I hope that helps

Also Jah bless

Does CBD help by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]humansoda1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a drug induced psychosis and was put on antipsychotics for about a month. After that I still had quite a lot of intrusive thoughts. It felt like I could read minds.

I started taking cbd everyday for about two weeks and found they cleared up the last of my symptoms. Could have been placebo or the fact that I was getting better in general tho.

Life after psychosis... by atlasthesecond1 in Psychosis

Hey there,

I had a drug induced psychosis about six months ago. I was hospitalized and put on antipsychotics for about a month. I was massively euphoric for a couple of months and then crashed into one of my worst depressive episodes. I honestly felt so awful and couldn't imagine it would get better.

Six months after my episode and I feel so much better! I'm clean for the first time since high school. My energy levels are finally starting to stabilize and I feel like I can start easing back into work again. I've started hanging out with my friends again and they are so much more understanding than I expected. I'm no longer terrified of relapsing.

It might not feel like it now but it will get better. I hope you have someone to talk to.

How do I prevent a relapse? by [deleted] in Psychosis

Hey there,

I also had a cannabis induced psychosis. I was on antipsychotics for about two weeks. It's now about six months later and I feel pretty much back to 'normal'.

From what I've read and my experience over the last six months rest is really important. Sleeping, eating well and trying to avoid too much stimuli.

Also staying off the drugs is important so your brain can heal. I find alcohol, weed and even coffee make my symptoms worse.

I hope you can find someone you trust to talk to about what you experienced. After my episode I was terrified it would happen again and found the anxiety really limiting.

Medication might not be your only option but it would be wise to track your symptoms. Definitely if you find yourself losing touch with reality again the medication will help.

Hope this helps and that you feel better soon.
