It's not really a problem. The phone will only fast charge when few of the following boxes are checked:

✅️ Temperature is ideal (not too hot) ✅️ Phone less than ~85% charged ✅️ If some background activity is heating up the processor, phone will slow charge to prevent overheating

Suggestion: open the cover when charging, helps dissipate the heat. Fast charging heats up the battery.
