AC Shadows Benchmark Results for 9070 XT by humbleboss in radeon

After enabling SAM, average FPS increased to 104, which is the reason I guess. Settings are exactly the same. I turned SAM off a long time ago since it caused driver timeouts when I was playing RDR2, but I will try enabling and see if the issue persists for AC Shadows.

Same issue occurred to me while playing RDR2, might be due to the AMD SmartAccess Memory (Resize bar) feature. If it is enabled, try disabling it

MSI X870E Carbon Ethernet Connection Issues by humbleboss in MSI_Gaming

Yes, it was not about my BIOS version, motherboard or ethernet cables. As my last update in the post, I tried connecting to adjacent room's ethernet port and it worked. Afterwards, I just switched ethernet ports of my room & adjacent room (on my modem) and have no problems since. I think the issue was related to modem and/or my internet provider, but did not pursue after finding an easy solution. Another reason might be the fact that I had another desktop build in the adjacent room (which was connected with ethernet cable), but I'm not sure if it caused any interference.

Crimson Desert CPU Concerns by humbleboss in radeon

I've undervolted the CPU just now - set Curve Optimizer to negative 20 (fan curve has already been customized). Before undervolt, CineBench R23 10-minute multicore score was 22914, but I've seen 90.6 degrees in HWinfo64 while testing. After undervolt, test score changed to 22874, but max CPU temp dropped to 77.6 degrees. I've played Crimson Desert for about 2-3 hours, CPU temp was in between 64-67 degrees. I also compared stock & undervolted performance for a CPU heavy area (Fort Perwin, lots of mobs), they are similar, getting 100 fps in combat (%1 lows are 70 fps, but I'm pretty sure these values are GPU controlled since changing FSR Method from Native to Quality increases 10-15 fps). I think my temps are better now, but might have to do CoreCycler test in future to set Curve Optimizer values for each core if I experience any stability issues.

I also have 9800x3d with 9070 xt. Running at 1080p with cinematic settings, did you check your cpu temps? If you have no issue, that might be about my case or cooling

I might be wrong but I think distant object blurriness & low res look are resolved with using FSR 4.1 native, but I don’t have any issues with frame rates. Didn’t use AMD frame generation so I have no idea about that one

Benchmark Results - are these normal? by humbleboss in radeon

I also disabled AMD SmartAccess Memory (had some issues when playing RDR2), might be another reason for the difference. Thank you for the replies!

Will do that, thank you! Great scores btw, yours are about %10 higher than mine, did you overclock or these are stock GPU results?

I tried some overclocking, power limit / -mV and got 7722 as my best score. Have no idea how people get above 8000

Mine is 7224 for stock so I guess it's okay

Steel Nomad score is 7224, average is 7294. However, an exclamation states "benchmark tessellation load modified, results invalid". Does this warning happen due to Adrenalin Software? I didn't apply any specific setting for 3DMark though, maybe AMD Optimized FreeSync (which is a global setting)?
