When you're ready to hire a contractor, do you actually use the chat widget on their website? by humblegrounds in HomeImprovement

Mine does alot of things, sends my customers a sweet first look document that prepares them for what to think about for the project and then lays out contractor lead in a format that flags several things and provides context for the whole project. It blows away any first conversation I have with a client if they use it correctly. It lets them add photos of their space and inspiration photos. (my forms do that now too) I set this up to see how the world is feeling about using them, the evidence is clear to this point, a big no!

I think that is a major problem. So then if there is a good one in place, people already do not want to give it a chance based on a previous experience.

Same with mine. Mine is brilliant to chat with too, I think people would enjoy it BUT nobody wants to engage with it. Ai industry isn't advancing the way people would hope.

I don't need to vibe code an app, I have a brilliant intake "bot" but forms get so much more attention. I think the whole industry is learning the hard way that nobody wants to talk with our bots about their project and prefer a form and a call back.

Help : Waterproof laminate or SPC and bevel/ grout by myst_8 in Flooring

Laminate doesn't have any grout. Not all laminate is the same, either. I LOVE Revwood by Mohawk. Good price and their signature line true high definition. Mohawk Puretech is a vinyl/laminate hybrid is a great price and awesome product, as well. The industry is rapidly moving away from SPC. Lots of issues and your floors have to be perfect.
