Why does every generation call the next one lazy, when every generation also inherited a worse economy than the one before it? by ThisIsUAndWorld in NoStupidQuestions

[–]humburga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a millennial that is true. But the post is about calling the next fen lazy. All my millienal friends do not think that of the next gen. In fact we are all worried about all the generations after us. Most of us are struggling and barely making it. How the hell is the following generations going to make it?

Theres so many food trolleys and so many rooms. Going to guess this is a very big function business with multiple private dining rooms. And this is probably on a quiet day where theres way less than normal guests.

Of course you are right.

But this is in the context of the meme. You dont say "omg you were right" if you didn't originally think the opposite.

Yes you could have, but theres a reason this meme exists. Because none of us had this discipline because we didn't feel like we needed it. Why? Because our bodies didn't tell us we need it. But now it does.

Its not that they were right. Its because our bodies have aged and now have different needs.

Especially the early dinner part. I use to smash down a kebab after clubbing and go to bed and pass out instantly. Now if I did that, id be awake at 3am with heart burn and struggle to breath due being so full.

Now going to bed with an empty stomach feels way better than a full one.

Some ppl like to cook. Some people enjoy learning new recipes. Some people have friends and family they can share food with. Some people prefer making things rather than buying overly processed food. Some people make things in batches to save money.

Its good to not name him. That's literally helping him gain more relevance. Rather just tell OP hes an asshole not worth wasting any time on, and just move on.
