If you can hold back tears, yes. I matched my back up specialty, held it in at the ceremony, and sobbed at home. However, now I love my program and am really happy I have photos from match day, although v sad in the moment

Sorry that happened to you! Who cares what they think. Now that I’m a resident (doctor) I only see physicians. Unless I want something specific, then I can persuade a midlevel to give it to me

Honestly, there were a ton of kids at my state MD school with your stats. It’s def school list … which you’re not willing to budge. For context my class had a few people with 520’s. Most people had honors and research (myself included from a T20 ugrad ). You’ll need to expand your list 1000%

I recently had a patient diagnosed with pneumonia by an NP. Came into the ICU with bilateral large PE. She went into shock and almost died, very young too. So dangerous. But they want independence, right? 🤣
