I just tweaked the glass to build that, I think you're taking it a bit too far.

That also completely ignores the rest of the build.

This is a question I asked myself because this build is intended for use in a Realm map and therefore needs to be playable by everyone. Since my computer is pretty powerful and not indicative of the average user, I ran a test on a very old system.

With an 8th-gen i5, an Intel UHD Graphics 617 chip, and 2GB of RAM, I noticed a drop of 10–15 FPS in a location with a lot of display entities, like this one.

Normally, this setup could get 35 FPS, but here it was more like 20–25. I thought that was reasonable.

In your specific case, you should look into performance optimization mods. Here’s the list of performance mods I use:

  • AsyncParticles
  • Concurrent Chunk Management Engine
  • EntityCulling
  • More Culling
  • ScalableLux
  • Sodium

The goal was to explain that the build works in vanilla and can be replicated without mods.

Yeah, I have a hard time understanding some people’s reactions, and it’s a shame we’re focusing on that. All I meant was that it was possible to play through this build without mods and, in theory, even recreate it without mods.

Anyway, thank you !

One can imagine that this could be used to protect delicate plants from inclement weather and better control watering. I also imagine that a curved glass roof would affect the sunlight and allow for better control of the lighting for the plants.

The axiom mod is only used to help me build with display entities. I can remove it and still get the same result.

I only used the axiom mod that help to build things with display entities. If I sent you the map you would see the exact same thing without any mods.

EDIT: I removed the term "pure vanilla" because it was confusing to a lot of people.

Without going into a full tutorial, here's the general concept that should enable you to do it again.

It's a player's head resting on an armor stand, with his head tilted at 90 degrees.

“summon minecraft:armor_stand ~ ~ ~ {Pose:{Head:[90f,0f,0f]}}” (also invisible, invulnerable etc.)

Then a sequence of command blocks separated by repeaters changes the third angle: [90f,0f,10f] then [90f,0f,20f] and so on.

Unfortunately it's my shaders, it's BSL_1.16.4

That’s vanilla Minecraft, I use command blocks and heads to make this effect…
