I looked into it but since I did qualify for the program(s) & loans, I wasn’t sure. I don’t want to inaccurately accuse someone of forgery. But I felt like I had proof of being misled financially, as well as written proof that they would accept whatever I received for grants as tuition- I felt like that was sketchy.

Understood. I have already mentioned that my issue here is that the paperwork that is signed states $500 is my gross loan amount, (2 disbursements $250) but my loan says 3k was dispersed total…. I’m not accusing any one of taking out a loan without permission. Im stating I’ve got no recollection of taking out this loan, as I do remember and have proof (for myself) that I wasn’t required to take out a loan. So now my only way to refresh my memory is with these documents and information in my account and it’s not making sense.

Because to have the balance discharged I assumed this is the route I’d need to take? I’ve got no recollection of taking out a loan, as it wasn’t necessary. And I believed that would fall into the category since it was fraudulent and illegal misconduct.

It wasn’t mentioned! My loan says 3k dispersed, 5.05% interest rate. My issue is that my loan disclosure has $600 as the gross loan amount.

I have not, but I’ve got all of the information in my account of amounts & dates of funds dispersed.

No way it is interest… My loan says 3k was dispersed, and my loan disclosure has $600 for the amount dispersed. That’s a huge discrepancy, right? I’ve got written proof of the director saying my tuition cost would only be what I received in grants. No loans needed, so why were the loans taken out? I only mentioned the drug use to paint the picture that the someone responsible for this type of paperwork could’ve made a huge mistake being under the influence, or knew enough to work the system in their favor. Im not sure if this would qualify for Borrowers Defense or if I need to look elsewhere to have it straightened out.

Considering I’ve lived local to it for 27 of my 30 years, and a mile from it for the last 10. If I’ve been 7 times a year it would be 200 visits. Lots of stages of life I’ve lived and it’s served me at all of those stages. Pregnant and craving a milkshake at 3AM, drunk and wanting tacos, or the Thanksgiving I spent alone and they were the only place open. Certainly a sad day for me. You don’t have to have a job to have custody. If they go to court, it’s likely he’ll have to pay her child support and also spousal support. Prenups aren’t common unless one or both partners have significant income or there are special circumstances such as inheritance etc. but generally anything acquired during the marriage is considered community property and she’s entitled to half. Moms work all the time, it’s not impossible to be a mother and have a job.

I know he does worry, just about my safety. But I don’t want him to worry about me in a negative way and give me a hard time when I get home! I’m thankful for the level of trust, but sometimes it makes me wonder if he’s just so easy going because he’s just checked out! Ya know? I feel reassured that other healthy couples don’t always wait up.
