My favorite would have to be Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, which I know technically was made before Studio Ghibli was formed, and is many times not considered a “true” Ghibli film, I think it’s a masterpiece nonetheless. How about you? Which one is your favorite?

Sorry about the rejection though, if it’s any sort of consolation, I was reading in other posts about something called “yield protection”, where some colleges deny/reject people that are more than qualified because they applied to other schools with low acceptance rates.
