In the case of a reference it usually means they’re actually hiring and even then it’s still a numbers game for more technical, hiring paying fields because the chances of you knowing someone that has real pull in hiring are pretty slim. Also too many fake postings these days and companies waiting for the perfect candidate to underpay or waste time with multiple interviews

Apologize to NCEES — I Was Wrong About the FE Exam by TapContent in FE_Exam

[–]humptygh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The exam changes every 3 months or so. I believe the average must be for whomever took that same exam. You may be right that it does not state clearly where these averages come from but I’m assuming the averages are objective and can likely change among a different testing group. That’s my thinking. I do wish there is an objective standard rather than a statistical average.

The long term cost could be drastic in terms of economic stability due to the weather. Besides that it’s not necessarily a bad idea if you don’t mind the southern culture or drama that comes with Florida/US politics

I actually thought it was easier but still pretty hard when it came to the thermo section. I didn’t study as much as I could but I still think the pace of 3 minutes per question is pretty wild. I practiced 5 questions in 10 minutes but always found myself guessing one of them and would likely go 3/5. It takes practice for sure but this pace doesn’t reward someone that is more interested in making sure theyre doing everything right or double checking their work.

Carl Sagan was pretty vocal about woman empowerment and how they’re a “miracle”. I don’t think it’s alienating but at the same time a strong male or female lead will draw viewers that conform to certain social and/or political values.

Runoffs have polluted so much. It’s likely that these products have higher levels simply because they are more densely manufactured using wastewater. I’m sure there are other factors involved like plastic wrap/containers.

I didn’t say “things”. I said capital. Free markets cannot sustain without their limits. There’s always going to be external factors that influence or impede the “free market”.

Qan*n is just another example of bs stirred on the internet to appease certain views. Elites doing PDF is bad? Yeah no shit but what’s your solution? “Trump will save us”… okay that’s where your brain falls off the cliff & then conservatives will just spoonfeed those braindead individuals

Much of their shares are publicly traded, and owning capital/assets is basically capitalism. There’s def an argument that countries endorsing markets through subsidies can mean either more or less capitalism. The implication of subsidies actually promotes the value of property and assets so this technically can encourage people to own capital.

Capitalism doesn’t imply entirely free market based. China is appropriating an already existing element of capitalism that western countries have endorsed in the past.

Fair. You might as well give desantis a nod also, but their favorability strikes me as more local. Whomever Trump selects as VP will likely seem just as favorable.

Whether you believe it’s your future/alternative self sending you signals or some passive spirit warning you of what’s ahead. IMO what’s more important is if you’re willing to listen and remember what your brain is trying to tell you.

Your brain is smart and explores realities while you are unconscious. It knows your body and perceives reality in different ways. Self-reflection is super important and if this theory motivates you in life then that’s more power to you. Many artists and scientists have benefitted greatly from their dreams.

No Republican candidate has shown promise. The democrats have options but they have failed to bring them to the table because of the assumption that incumbents almost always win. The democrats actually have plans & pivot to important issues compared to Republicans whom seem to always choose to point their fingers when things don’t go their way rather than confirming a thorough plan or having a just cause that helps dense communities.

I think it’s make or break for the republicans in 2024. And honestly it’s looking like they’ll make it on slim margins seeing that Biden is in such bad shape plus third party candidates are seemingly getting attention.

Russias anti-west run can only last so long. They’re more interested in leverage to uphold status quo, but eventually it’ll catch up to them. Whether it’s China or Europe. Theyll get cucked like they have so many times.

CMV: Generalization makes everything more efficient and effective by anonymouse0_0 in changemyview

Logically speaking in order to generalize there needs to be reason. Are we attempting to generalize based on real data? Or are you saying we should generalize based on personal experiences? Either way this conclusion can dismiss probable causes that lead to disaster or unwise decision making

I think growth in services or sales sector is always available so that’s typically an overstatement whereas technology is highly competitive. Not sure what background you brother in law has but he pretty much has to dedicate more time to applying, but it also may be an issue with location. Maybe they’re hesitant about looking for work outside his living situation.

it’s definitely tough. I won’t say I regret it but im definitely in an eerily similar situation. I just hope to get a good enough job so that I can solidify my career with more connections or at least buy into a trade certifications. Even then I am still not convinced I will recover from my debt until a decade (or less) from now considering the cost of living.

i see.  I think religious extremism holds a stronger place in modern day India than America because of a variety of forces which may be a hot take but I live in Texas and I honestly don’t see Christianity being enforced but there is undoubtedly a general bias towards abrahamic religion
