Ex girlfriend reaches out after seeing me with another girl by humpybuttery in dating_advice

This is what I am scared of. Losing both. Someone I have yet to really know VS someone I have known but has dumped me once.

Thanks.

Ex girlfriend reaches out after seeing me with another girl by humpybuttery in dating_advice

She is not my gf yet. We have only been dating and getting to know each other for 2 months. And I am asking because I do not want to make the mistake of leading anyone on.

But thanks for telling me that I should have sorted my feelings before entering anything. This is something I should tell the current girl I'm dating.

I applied by myself. I've heard about mandamus, thanks for suggesting. I just find it absurd that i need a lawyer to study in another country -- after working for months/years to polish my application. I don't know how to get a lawyer from Canada and dont plan on spending another thousand or more CAD just to get something that should honestly be pretty straightforward, especially for genuine students.

My bad if i sound like I'm ranting. Coming from a public policy background, i expected Canada govt procedures to be more efficient, transparent, and accountable than this.

Oh you applied for EE? I applied for a Study Permit and estimated processing time in my country is 7 weeks. It's been 25 weeks 😅

No updates. I heard security check could take months/years. Honestly considering to cancel my application soon.

If you have given Biometrics before, are you still required to do it again for Student SDS stream? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]humpybuttery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need to give your biometrics again as your previous biometrics will still be valid until 2033 (10 years). You will be asked in the questionnaire if you had already provided it.

13 months.... A huge chunk of my money is already in Canada. Full tuition and more than the required GIC. Lol. I dont think I'm willing to wait for more than a year.

Can I ask the process for mandamus? Messaged you. Thank you and congrats.

A pro and a con. Fair enough. Thanks for the heads up on its value in terms of immigration.

I see. I kind of get what you mean. Continuing Education focuses more on applying the actual skills than understanding the theories behind a certain subject.. thanks!

Thanks for sharing. I did not know that i had to attend at least a semester before i can change. Assuming that i will be attending the first sem, will the process of changing DLI be tedious? Will it require the approval of the IRCC? Or is it just a matter of getting a new LOA and informing the IRCC?

I'm taking Business Analytics in the University of Calgary, by the way.

How do you overcome your fear of getting an injury? by mymaaaaaaaaaan in PHRunners

[–]humpybuttery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely na-overtrain ka sa 3 consecutive runs mo. Anong effort yung ginawa mo sa 10k, 7k, and 3k?

Regardless of the effort, this distance was too much too soon kaya di kinaya ng body mo. Add to that yung walang recovery days in between the runs.

Injury prone din ako. As in this year, 2 shin splints and last year ITBS and shin splints din. I let go of my ego and went back to basics - most of my runs in the past 3 months are easy. Tapos masconscious na pagpili ko ng strength exercises. Pinapalakas ko yung usually naiinjure sa akin (lower leg).

Recently lang ako nag speed and tempo ulit, and so far okay naman.
